I've been looking for a fansproject shadow commander.

1) What are the chances fansproject will re release this guy? He is pretty expensive at the time being.
2) I have a chance to buy the KO version. Are the loose arm joints really that bad or can they be fixed ?

I doubt it gets reissued, but these days you never know. Since the Shadow Commander armor doesn't actually have arm joints I assume you are asking about a KO Nemesis Prime to go with the armor?

I meant the KO shadow commander. I've seen on people talk about the arms not properly clipping on. I shouldn't have said arm joints

I haven't even seen many real SC sets around, the ones i do see are like $150 on ebay. I wonder how much KOs go for.

I'm in the same boat as you ..I wanted the shadow commander set forever but it's insanely marked up right now..I'm debating on just getting the KO version to satisfy me ..here's a link to KOtoys

I just ordered the KO CC and SC from Kotoys.com so if you would like i can write a message review once i get them (which should be a week or so) to tell you if they are worth the money and what needs work on them.

I have both the City Commander set and the DIA commander set..The DIA is on my Takara Prime and I used a KO Ultra Magnus from KOtyos for the CC..The only problem I have is the shoulder peices refuse to stay on..The rest of the armor fits suprisingly well, especially the waist peice which oddly enough is quite loose on DIA..

As for the KO sets themselves I haven't pulled the trigger on the SC set..I look foward to your reviews of it!... KO toys sometimes seems a little out of whack when it comes to customer service but they do good busniess for the most part..I believe they ship from China..It took about a week or so to get my goods..
