Love this mold. While the extra accessories are nice in bot mode, the way Hasbro designed them to stack everything at the top of the Fast-pack is non-sense. I also don't like the hollowness of the fuselage, so I attempted to cover it up as much as possible using the chest armor as the fuselage belly fairing. It's done by adding a (removable) 5mm rod in the back of the chest armor that can attach to the screw hole in the "belly button" of Jetfire. Added some plastic panels on the side of the chest that stick out a bit to hold the chest armor in place. This mod make this piece of accessory able to act as a shield instead of a chest armor, which I like better because the chin is obscured when the accessory is used a chest armor.

I drilled a 5mm hole on each side of the chest so the twin cannons can be mounted there, and I clipped off a bit of plastics on the cannons so they can be mounted at the bottom of the fuselage (attaching them to the 5mm holes in the forearms) as another configuration alternative in plane mode.

I glued some plastic sheets to cover the unsightly hollowness in the forearms as well.

My mod is simple enough, you just need to drill a 5mm hole in armor piece and find a 5mm rod that's long enough to link the armor to the main torso. While I also glued 2 plastic sheets on the sides of the chest to hold the armor in place, they're not strictly necessary. It's worth a try, hard to screw up, and even if you do, the hole in the armor is covered anyway.
