I can't help but wonder if Slipstream is becoming the Decepticon's Arcee.

She's shown up in two unrelated TF media with nearly identical designs, which is what stirred this line of pondering. What do you all think?

Here's hoping it doesn't take 25 years for her to get an accurate toy.

Not to mention that she stole her color scheme from G2 Ramjet. Of course, that means next year's Club Exclusive G2 Ramjet would make a fine stand-in for Slipstream in one's Classics/Universe display.

Having Starscream, Thundercracker, Skywarp and Slipstream all in Escalation mode is a riot. In relatedness, if Hasbro does make a WFC seeker mold, then Slipstream is not too far off (for me) to make.

You what? I would love it if Hasbro made a Toy of her, and then used said mold to make new characters. Timelines introduced the idea of radical variants of the seekers frame, and I would love to buy other seekers that don't use Starscream as a base template. Because at that point Starscream would look so much cooler as Aerospace Commander if he had more troops under his command, or in his seeker unit.

While I don't like huge variation in the Seeker frame, I do agree with you. Starscream must command huge amounts of troops, otherwise why is he Aerospace Commander?

Besides, it would be easy for them to do so. For example, if they wanted to make a FemSeeker Classics mold, all they probably have to do is change the face. If they wanted to make it yet more feminine, they might narrow the wings a bit and/or give her broader hips. It would be easy.

You know, I think the Cyclonus mold with a new head works better for Slipstream. It has a slim waist compared to the standard seeker brick waist. Which does make it more female to me, but I'm shocked as to not only Thundercracker not getting a big release, but Sunstorm as well.

I am not shocked, but I am confused as to why. He and Sunstorm are quite clamored over to have for toys, and someone somewhere deep in the bowels of Hasbro must know that there is a demand for them. They are a strange, strange, flock of birds. :-(

Well, I suppose you could make the argument that classic Thundercracker is already a Botcon exclusive, but they did issue a classic Thrust anyway, because he had a different set of wings from the Botcon version. If that's the case, maybe he needs a new head sculpt or something. Or maybe they should retool Seeker chassis to be more like the War Within Drones, and then paint it over as Thundercracker.

Long story short, now that Thundercracker is actually allowed to be Thundercracker in the comics, I want his character. Up until that point, I just considered him to be a Skywarp clone that doesn't teleport.
