The Energon Pub

This is something I've been working on (and off) for about seven months. Started as a Kawasaki green Ninja. This thing was probably the most mod-intensive of anything I've done so far.

- Sculpted new head (I realize it looks a little small, that's due to the transformation process)
- New hands (from Zildjian) with styrene gauntlets that attach via magnet
- Exhaust connects with magnet now, original connection was very brittle
- Pistol holster and knife sheath attach via magnets mounted to inside of leg.
- Built his grenade-laden chest shield with the original chrome piece, 1:12 GI Joe grenades, and parts from a 1:12 SWAT figure from Big Lots.
- Sculpted the handle, added a styrene hand-guard, shortened and curved the blade on his sword (was originally a longer broadsword type)
- Chopped up the original assault rifle that came with the SWAT figure to look more like a sub-machine gun.
- Custom printed chrome, red, and dark grey metallic decals and graphics
- Custom designed GI Joe/Autobot logo (I actually have a TON of these leftover if anybody is interested in them)
- Super glossy bike parts that I polished and waxed, flat black robot parts, drybrushed with silver chrome enamel, and gold/red/silver highlights.

I really enjoyed painting this guy, even though Roadbots are a pretty inferior product to Transformers.
