Warning and note: Remember, these reviews are by parents, not collectors. Also remember that I do not intend to insult anyone.
Once, I read a review saying Deluxe Movie 1 Bumblebee was impossible to transform, and even Mom and Dad couldn't transform it!
Here's one for Activators Optimus: my son got these for his 4th birthday and the box said a level 2 conversion. when we opened the box, my son couldnt even figure how to transform them. they are too hard for a 4 year old, and the pieces fall off to easy. Research and development should of done a better job!!!!
It's an Activator, people, not Unicron!
And one for FAB Bumblebee: We really thought we would be reliving the nostalgia of our childhood through our boys, who are obsessed with Transformers! However, the Transformer toys of today are junky and cheaply made! Why not bring back the same style of make and model for the Transformers of our day? Anyway, we agree with most of you saying that there is no way the "age apropriateness" given on the package is anywhere near what a child that age can actually do! Don't even get me on the Cybertron planet transformation...we felt we needed to go take a few engineering classes to do that one!
Good Luck!
This is a FAB! Also, of course Cybertron/Primus is hard to transform - it's for professional collectors!
Or this review of Robot Replicas The Fallen: it needs more weapons like a sword, gun.
If you want a sword and gun, get Optimus Prime!
And the final one, FAB Long Haul: I bought this for my son for his birthday and it was a bit easier to put together than another transformer I bought him (though both are rated 2 on the scale of how hard it is to put together) but it is so cheap. It falls apart at the slightest touch. Wheels fell off and a leg fell off. So cheaply made.
Ok...
I'll post more humorous ones as I find them.
