CAPE CORAL, Fla. (CBS Tampa) – Definitely not lovin’ it.

A man accused of disgusting McDonald’s patrons by popping his pimples was under arrest after customer complaints led to a brief chase by officers.

It started Monday when customers of the McDonald’s located at 2404 Santa Barbara Blvd. alerted authorities to a man standing outside the restaurant for about 10 minutes squeezing away at the acne on his back. Events that followed with police ended in a brief chase and the arrest of the man, who allegedly gave a false name when confronted about the complaints.

Owen Lemire Kato, 23, was arrested on charges of giving a false name upon arrest as well as drug offenses, according to Cape Coral Police Department reports.

According to the News-Press.com website, an off-duty police officer confronted Kato about the complaints from customers. Reports say Kato said his name was “John Smith” before giving his real name, but then fled on foot before being chased down and tackled by the officer and other police on duty nearby

The News-Press also reported the suspect was found to have a syringe in his pocket allegedly used to inject Oxycontin.

No reason for the public dermatology exercise was given.

There are tons of these under the "Probably Bad News" section of Failblog. With many of them, you wonder "Why is this even news" just as much as "They're/That's so stupid." It seems like most of them are in Florida...

Do the stories have to be real news, or does made up news count?

They can be made up I guess, but preferebly real strange or stupid news stories would be best. That way you can read them and think, "Man, I'm normal after all."

Pennsylvania Woman Let Niece, 6, Drive Out of Tight Parking Spot

BEAVER, Pa.-- Police say a western Pennsylvania woman endangered her 6-year-old niece by having the girl back the woman's car out of a tight parking spot, wrecking two other parked cars in the process.

Fifty-five-year-old Rebecca Beatty, of Aliquippa, and her attorney have not returned calls on the charges she waived to Beaver County Court on Tuesday.

Police charged Beatty June 10 after she picked up her niece from a dance program at Ambridge Area High School.

The Beaver County Times reports Wednesday that Beatty found another car parked too close for her to enter her own vehicle through the driver's side. That's when police say Beatty had her niece get in and back the car out.

Police say the child hit a parked car, pushing it over a curb until it hit another car parked on the street.
