That battle command Prime looks great from the front. Can the backpack easily be detached?
He has the best scale of all 3 Modern Primes.
That commercial... people get murdered in the movie. They should play that as background music during the killing.

hopefully Hasbro will also make a voyager modern Prime. Evasion is amazing!

Indeed. I think I'm going to buy AoE Optimus Prime and stick some googly eyes on his windscreen now.

But yeah, I do think we could do with a slightly sillier take on the Transformers. I haven't watched past the first ep of Prime, but from what I'm aware it was quite grim and serious as Transfoers shows go, much like the latter bits of Beast Wars (and like BW it was also pretty awesome) and AoE was pretty bloody depressing. The last "silly" show we had was Animated (which I really need to watch). Maybe the next Transformers cartoon should be done by the Japanese? We haven't had a "main" Transformers anime series since Cybertron (Go! doesn't count as it wasn't released here). RID from what I'm aware (never watched it...) was a little bit too silly, but did have some very funny moments (such as any time Sky-Byte was on the screen). I'd like to see something similar to RID done again- a 2D Transformers anime with an overall humourous tone- perhaps affectionately mocking the sillier bits of the franchise (the absurd scale issues, blatant toy-pushing, some of the crappier series like Energon and, umm, Kiss Players)...

Yeah it's on all the one step and power battler figures. It's to unlock weapons in the stomp and chomp Grimlock. Problem is the larger Grimlock comes with an Optimus Prime figure with magnets in both it's feet making the other figures pointless.

Courtesy of the HKGTF Facebook page, we get out first prototype glimpse of the Takara Tomy Movie Advanced Line AD31 Leader Class Armored Knight Optimus Prime, showing off which parts will be modified from AD01 for the release, including head, arms, chest and feet. Probably to avoid the backpack being a floppy mess of hinges and panels. From what I've seen, Prime's backpack is very thin, and it would probably need completely re-engineering from scratch to get it to compress better.

Still, there's always a chance a 3rd party company might release a replacement backpack that folds up better (WITHOUT partsforming, please) like they did for ROTF Prime's hands and swords.
