I've only just started to collect TF Prime figures last month.

Generally I prefer the First Editions over thier later Robots in Disguise versions, however I'm torn on which Arcee to get.

Both have kibble issues I know, the FE has the better paint apps and a more complex transformation, however the RiD has the more show accurate face sculpt and has the better scale.

As I said I'm torn and as I can't afford to get both I'd really appreciate a little advice. So which one is the one to get?

I have both. RID Arcee gets the spot on my shelf. You can pop the front wheel off and the back kibble is not so bad. I feel like she also has a little bit better articulation. Also the RID has the advantage of being available in stores so you don't have to pay aftermarket prices.

I would personally say if you can get the First Edition, get it, as it's a nicer-designed figure with a more complex transformation and better paint apps. But if you can't find the FE easily or for a reasonable price, don't bother, just get the PRiD version. Out of all the FE figures I feel Arcee is the least superior to the PRiD version. The PRiD is pretty good and much more in-scale to the others.

I don't personally like the First Edition of Arcee, RID version is loads better. I have both by the way.

I wouldn't think FE RC is worth the aftermarket price.

If you have the money, I would recommend getting the NYCC set from HTS.com (I think it's still available) AND the RID Arcee. They both have some good features. For one thing, I love that the NYCC version is pink, which to me is the color that Arcee is supposed to be. I also like it because it's taller (although that presents scale issues), it comes with TWO blades that integrate well into the bike mode, and it comes with the little Jack figure. It may not be as show-accurate, but it's still a great figure. Plus, if you buy that NYCC set, you get a FE BB, which most seem to agree is superior to the RID BB.

Thanks for all the advice guys, I really do appreciate it.

I think I'm going to get the RiD version when wave two finally hits the UK. It wasn't an easy decision and I really do like the FE version, but I think budget is sadly going to be the deciding factor.
Although I just might end up getting the FE at a later date anyway.
