Are the First Edition Prime toys coming out again in another line or just on this line? I don't have any way of buying them currently and I loved them...

I would be amazed beyond belief if there were not one of the molds reused at a later date. More than this, I dare not speculate.

Im not quite certain about the re-release of molds... but i know that in the "main" Robots in Disguise line, most would have new molds, so it seems unlikely to re-issue the 1st ed. molds.

Nor have I. If the person I mentioned, in another thread, is right, then we might not see some figures and the line will be shortened.

Confirmed prototypes:

Deluxe Breakdown
Deluxe Wheeljack
Deluxe Ratchet (sight unseen, but people in the know, know it's coming.)
Voyager Optimus (with a ridiculous light up gimmick.)
Voyager Skyquake
Voyager Starscream

Confirmed testshots/production run:

Deluxe Bumblebee (either a remold from the First Edition, or a whole new mold.)
Deluxe Cliffjumper (either a remold from the First Edition, or a whole new mold.)

The rest of the known figures are Cyberverse Commanders and a playset.

I don't know if they'll reuse the First Edition molds, or not, even down the line, but I'd recommend getting them, just in case they make molds we won't get later.

Also, if Hasbro does it like this, we should all be pissed.

I don't think I'd be too pissed if the Prime line was shortened. From the very beginning, Hasbro said there wouldn't even be a Prime line. Them making TF Prime toys at all is pretty cool to me, and I'm happy with whatever figures we get since I wasn't expecting Hasbro to even attempt making TFP figures.

However, I think it's safe to assume the Prime line will not be cancelled or shortened. Hasbro usually keeps 2 (sometimes even 3) lines going at the same time. We can expect the Movie Trilogy toys to be out in 2012, but what line other than TFP will be released alongside the Trilogy toys? We could speculate that the Generations line will continue, especially since we saw alternate head molds for Scourge, Lugnut, and G2 Prime. But if they are planning on keeping the Generations/RTS line going, Hasbro has done a great job at keeping it a secret.
