TF Tattoo design

Got a great pic of G1 Op or BW Megs? Whether it's 2-D or 3-D it's welcome as is any other form of art outside the custom figure world.

Well LIm getting a tattoo for my birthday and I have an Idea but it may need some tweaking. Let me know what you think. If you want to make changes, be my guest.

Or do you think I should use that design with the boarder or the one with out below. Also should I do a chrome thing to both like on the orginal fraction symbols. If anyone can do that I would apricate it.

Go with the border, but instead of solid black, see if they can shade the whole thing to look three dimensional.

That texture is called "brushed metal." That might help explain it to some people. I'd like to know how to create the effect too.

Hah! I don't know much about tattoos, but I'm pretty sure a subtle effect like brushed metal would be quickly and easily lost. a gradient chrome look would last longer, but probably need touch-ups regularly if it was done lightly.

I definately think you should go with a bevelled edge and chrome gradient look, so that it's more similar to the original logo and people will sort of recognize it.
Personally, I wouldn't tattoo myself with anything that wasn't DEEPLY significant to me, but I have no idea what the story behind this is, and people can do whatever they want to do to themselves. :)

nah.. the brushed metal look could be easily done by a good artist... and itll last....

just take your time. get the exact design you want.. take it to whom ever is going to do it.. talk to them.. get everything straight .. and go for it..

thats how my artist works for me.. i take him my artwork.. i let him tweak it a bit . so it has his touches into it too.. since i love his artwork...

we size it. and it gets added onto my sleeve....
