Slipstream was actually the very first Transformers custom I ever did, before I started doing these 'posters'. I never even showed her jet mode, so I figured she was due for a little attention. I adjusted her chin with an emery board. It took a while, but I've always been quite pleased with the results.
A lot of versions of this character take pains to make the mold more 'feminine'. Frankly, she's already got a tapered waist and 'heels', and attempts to take in the biceps always look a bit goofy to me. In this case I'm more than happy to leave well enough alone.

This one's all new! I used Sunstorm as the base for Ramjet, because they both have a red cockpit window. Genius, right? Well, here's the thing: Sunstorm is cast largely in bright, creamcicle orange. Ramjet is mostly white. This, folks, is what's known as not thinking ahead.
What a pain... Having used the regular Starscream, with his nice, neutral blue-grey previously, I didn't realize just how much of his gears and insides are visible when he's assembled. I had to paint everything, and those colours are not forgiving with mistakes. There are a couple of orange spots I didn't catch until after taking these pictures, but by that point I was annoyed enough with this guy that I didn't bother with another photo shoot. Still, over all I'm pleased with him, in retrospect.

Haha, clones, amirite? Also, men, I guess.
