I posted this in another thread.Related on how the original show, though with lot's of "imperfections" served us oldies a lot of our childhood playtime.
I'm not gonna focus on the thin plot and somewhat absurd premises such as mass shifting and the like but the original TF including the 1986 had a lot of anime influences (especially those episodes animated by Toei Doga and TMS)
I won't name them ( 2 in particular) just yet but who would have thought that one of them cut his teeth in animating both TF and G.I. Joe?
Check the attachment and wager a guess who I am referring to ( currently one of them is now more into ero anime just like Masamune Shirow, though the other also took a dive with ero anime )
