Weapon: tea cup."
Otherwise, Bruticus with FP limbs. I may revise this opinion when I complete Giant.

He has a decent size and KNEES, but mainly i just love Hunn-Grrs alt and robot mode 2 headed dragon looks great and has neck articulation plus the other terrorcons have there quirks mainly blot and rippersnapper
i wish they had more screen time and were made out to be more than just stupid and full of rage if he had a brain with that rage he would have been something to fear
its a shame all combiners didnt become super intelegent using 5 brains after all its something i didnt realy get .
But for NEW combiners FP Bruticus truly awsome peice of work.

The problem is all 5 members' minds have to act as one in order for the giant to function properly. Devastator and Menasor are the examples on what can go wrong with that. On the flipside, Computron is too intelligent, taking minutes to make an otherwise split-second decision. Predaking and Piranacon have perfect minds because of the members' love to kill and hunt.

Surprisingly enough it doesn't have a gallery here.
JRX is pretty good for a 3 member combiner, and I do like him, but the arms suffer the most as they end up being long planks rather than proportioned arms.
Other than that, Does Armada Prime + Jetfire + Oveload count?
He's really cool, and massive, and loaded with weaponry, even if he's not all that moveable below the waist.
And I'll second R.I.D Omgega Prime. Best combination ever.. if only Prime's waist had a little more shall we say girth... to support all that weight.
Still he's a massive tower of chrome-tastic awesomesauce.

If only Piranacon would be the same size as Predaking. That would be very imposing.
Personally, I am looking very much forward to the 3rd party Menasor kit for the Animated Stunticons, if it ever gets made (as it's supposed to later this year).

ive always thought it was a waste with the im bigger now im slower gimick for the g1 combiners, the personality for these characters could have been great for the show even having a couple of episodes to them selves and even better playabilty as toys
the same can be said for the dinobots ,simple and slow they to could have had some great things going on if they only could think like the average transformer.

Agreed, that's AWESOME.
As for the G1 combiners, I've gotta agree with RhA. There's a lot going for them, even if they aren't quite as fancy as some of the modern toys, most of them look pretty good even on their own. For example, there's just something about G2 Swindle chilling on my shelf dual-wielding his guns.

I think the G1 Predacons, Terrorcons, and Seacons were absolutely beautiful combiners. The wild colors and designs all worked so well together. Just thinking about it makes me want to be back in '86 in third grade.

For example, there's just something about G2 Swindle chilling on my shelf dual-wielding his guns.On another note, I REALLY need to find a combiner torso-bot.. Cutthroat, RiD Blast Off(Movor) and G2 Fireflight are lonely ._.
Creating your own combiner is part of the fun. Something these newfangled limb specific combiners limit is compatibility.
This is my take on Abominus: Reconstructed. In a war torn Cybertron, after loosing Rippersnapper and having Sinnertwin lose the ability to combine the remaining Terrorcons meet up with Fireflight and Skydive, also suffering the loss of their respective combining team, the Aerialbots.
With Skydive and Fireflight never really believing in the Autobot cause they join with the Terrorcons as profiteers of the war and Decepticon mercenaries.
The addition of jets to the Terrocons team gives them air support that Cutthroat couldn't do alone. Sinnertwin is still part of the team, but can no longer transform into robot mode(really my brother broke his head off
That all aside, I like the RID Universe Devastator repaint best. Despite the center bot each robot is interchangeable with one another to create varied combiner looks. I am perplexed as to the lack of this in the Galleries here.

I use hands and feet from a ko Bruticus that I painted with Krylon X metalized primer. Check places like Big Lots and Gordman's, although I've never seen a Gordman's outside of Iowa except Moline,IL. Often they will have ko combiners.
Also the Easter baskets are coming out and they sometimes are stuffed with ko combiners to give you extra weapons and needed accessories.
I need to get another Hun-grr to paint too. He's got so much unpainted potential

For now, though, while I have a fondness for ROTF legends Devastator, Animated Safeguard (a fondness I'm sure I'm alone in, but don't care) Armada Perceptor, and PCC Steamhammer, I'd have to say that Magnaboss is incredibly well-designed.

I also feel that Safeguard looks pretty great. I mean...I kinda hate everything about Animated, but I wouldn't mind having Safeguard, if just for the aesthetic alone. I'm also looking forward to FoC Bruticus. G2 Swindle was and continues to be one of my favorite smaller toys, lol.
EDIT: By the way, what, if any, interchangeability is there between g1 Gestalt heads/torsos? Obviously Motormaster/Menasor's head isn't cross-compatible, but is say...Bruticus' head compatible with Scattershot or Hun-Gurrr and vice-versa?
