What is the most rarest, hardest to get near impossible to obtain Generation 1 transformer to actually find and by?

I think it's a safe bet to say Fortress Maximus.

For the whole "he's too bloody hard to afford" factor.

yeah i think your right about that one i thought it might be overlord or reflector. a friend of mine who talks abit of s!#t reckons his brother is a collecter and that he has just about every G1 figure but i got a feeling hes all s!#t

I think you are right. It might not be quite as hard to find, but it is sure hard to obtain.

I think when it comes to domestic U.S. I would agree to say Fort Max simply on price and Reflector too considering all the weeding out one must do to not get a crappy KO. And as far as import TF's I would say any of the Zone bots would be a bit tuff simply cause of price such as Metrotitan, Dai Atlas and Sonic Bomber...I would think!

Hmm, I figured it would be Overlord, if prices aren't taken into consideration. Maximus is expensive, but not rare. I never thought Reflector would be that rare, though.

if your going to the extreme, Gen 1 unicron and Arcee prototypes.

Action master Elites as well as action master Sideswipe, Slicer, thundercracker etc are pretty rare too

yup Action Master Tracks,Sideswipe and Bombshell are damn tough.but I have to say the Original Fortress Maximus too.and worst thing?I had these and the AM Elites when I was young......the Motorvators too.Flame,Gripper and Lihspeed had some savage battles with Overlord when I was 11.

I didnt find Overlod hard to get at all.loose Mint complete BIN $325.

My freid Duckstar has a Hotrod, gen 1, which came with the action master and both guns in the box and they all fit.

He always thought it was a mistake.

The mexican TF gen 1 mini bots are nice oddities too, I found a deep maroon and i think the second colour is white gears at a boot sale with the yellow cliffjumper once. And a complete original gen 1 Shockwave in a brickabrack store for £12.00. Overlord bodies occasionally turn up at bootsales and jumble sales, but his parts are hard to get.

The Dino Cassettes. Zaur,Dial,Graphy and Noise. You are very lucky if you EVER see them up for auction anywhere. SUPER RARE. If ya do your paying out the nose for not a lot of transformer. A single cassette can go for 1200 bucks if your lucky.

EDIT; actually....i jsut found a Dial on ebay for 1500 hundred bucks and a Zaur for 1551.00 on a private auction.

You still can't beat the white headmasters. Sure a non-produced figure like G1 Unicron will go for around $12,000. But the White Headmasters I think go for around $3000 each.

I don't find either Reflector or Fort Max that hard to obtain. Expensive, yes, but not hard to find. As for the US ones; finding a complete Vroom, Bugly, Skyhammer and Longtooth is a bitch. Longtooth is, in my experience, the one hardest to find. Until recently I haven't seen a complete one in months for sale.

As for european ones I'd say Omega Spreem, Windmill, Tracks and Bombshell. Pyro, Deftwing & Ironfist are also rare, but they're G1,5. Haha.

I'm not that familiar with the rarity and stuff regarding Japanese exclusives, but I'd say the white Headmasters and the Dino Cassettes. Roadfire is quite rare too.

Vintage KO Reflector's exist, too. Too be honest, I need to check if mine are authentic. They're in storage, but I'll get around to it one day.

I've checked mine over quite thoroughly, so I'm satisfied about that.

What about Rabbicrater? He's pretty rare. To my eternal shame, I passed on the figure in a local second hand shop because I don't collect Micomasters (nor did I know about the rarity of the figure).

The red Sunstreaker were never sold in Transformers packaging. It's a legit Takara toy, but it's not a Transformer but a Diakron figure. Same with the black Tracks, that's a finish Diaclone, not a G1 Transformer. Though the red Tracks is a G1 toy, produced by MB in Europe. And yeah, that makes my european list too.
