Whiterun was exactly where I killed him. I think thats the only place he sleeps alone. I don't quite recall what the bonus was for not offing him on the road was but I didn't think it was worth the extra effort.

They give you the location of an upgraded set of Dark Brotherhood armor, which also happens to be the location of the second word for the Slow Time shout.

This is one of the greatest collector's edition. The statue of Alduin looks exactly like it does in the game. The same goes for the art book. A lot of the time you just get some small booklet with a few pages. Skyrim's art book is huge (close to 8x11) and has some of the best concept drawings that I've ever seen.

The regular edition also comes with that sweet map. That thing really helped early on (Before I had enough locations visited where I could fast-travel everywhere) since the in-game map doesn't list roads for some reason.

I opened the map once, but put it right back. Really worried I'd rip that thing if I kept referring to it.

Started the game and played through the beginning mission of escaping the dragon and making it through the tunnel. Never played Elder scrolls before but played the hell out of Fallout 3 and NV so fell into the controls and game style pretty quickly. Annoying that the PC uses the console menus but not a gamebreaker.

Decided to be an Argonian. The idea of being a lizard man just really appeals to me for some reason. Follow the link for a pic.
Locust of Jibblies

In keeping with him being my Locust self, I picture he was arrested for serial peeping. Eyes that have stared so long they've permanently glossed over and the leafy hair makes it really easy to hide behind potted plants. Alas, he attempted to spy a Khajiit and ended up with the slashes across his eye for his trouble. His warpaint is a permanent smile and the battle cry "It was worth it!".

Do your Alduins sit properly on his wall? I know mine doesn't. It looks awkward and precariously balanced. Just wondering if this is the mold, or I got a slightly warped one.

Mine sits pretty securely atop the wall. I've even tried to knock him off after reading this and it didn't happen. The trick with mine was getting his feet to sit properly, then I pressed down a little harder to make the wings rest properly.

Just pulled mine out and tested it. Seems like it's sits pretty stably. The positioning isn't very clear but it's fits right in when you get it down. This is getting a spot at work, just to make my coworkers jealous. 8)
