I don't know if this has been discussed already, but I'm curious. Everyone seems to have some TF they absolutely hate for whatever reason, but what is that one TF that gathers the most fanrage, the absolute worst piece of donkeyplop ever to hit the fan, er, shelves?

Let's find out.

If everyone would post their top 3 (if you can) most hated toys, I expect to see the turds surface soon enough. Then after a while, we can make an official top-something. Feel free to post why you hate it.

A small sidenote; this is about toys, not characters.

My top 3:

1- 'Masterpiece' Megatron. Brittle! Actual rust! And this funbag goes for a pricetag that should enrage even Mother Teresa. Are there documentented cases of this thing standing upright at all?
2- Universe Galvatron 2.0, you know why, dammit.
3- Energon/Superlink Superion. Awful limbs, awful torso. To top this crapfest off, backwards knees.

Deluxe is my favorite size class, so I'm one of the few people who really love Universe Galvatron. I think he's a great looking toy in robot mode.

As for worst Transformer ever, I'd say it's a toss up between most of the Bayformers for me.

How can my opinion be ridiculous? I don't like the movie designs, it's a matter of personal preference.

My worst transformers:

1) Energon Superion Maximus...or whatever his name was.
2) Energon Bruticus Maximus
3) Energon Devastator Maximus...or whatever his name was.

All of these combiners were poorly designed, accessories sucked really bad, and Has/Tak went cheap by giving only three molds each- a torso and two limbs that were repainted. Talking about a lack of creativity and originality.

I own only two repaints of these type of combiners: The collector's club combiner Nexus Maxi...er, Prime and Movie Line Combaticons. Nexus because he's Club exclusive and none of the figures are repaints of each other and I use the Snowman version of the Aerialbot upgrade/add-on kit. Movie Line Combaticons I use the Fansproject replacement/upgrade/add-on figures which greatly improves this combiner set. I would only change my mind if Fansproject were to continue with this concept and apply new molds and accessories to the Energon Aerialbot and Constructicon combiner teams. I'm investing in TFC's Hercules set so the Aerialbots would be an interest to me.

I have to agree with Cougar. This entire thread is nothing but opinion, and though you may not agree with his opinion, it's really not fair to insult it. I personally think MP Megatron is better than MP Prime. I know a lot of people will disagree with me, but I wouldn't expect to have my opinion insulted.

To get back on topic, though, I would have to say Beast Machines Supreme Cheetor is the worst figure I've ever seen. It's the ONLY figure I ever returned to the store.

Funny thing about Supreme Cheetor, I got it as a Christmas gift once from my girlfriend's (at the time, since has become an ex) parents. I literally never opened the thing, it's still sitting in my closet MISB to this day.

That's a good idea. Actually, most of my Beast Machines Maximals are still MISB or MOSC because they don't look so bad in the box or on the card. It's when you take them out and transform them that you see how truly crappy they are.

Well, if I end up selling it and become rich, I'll let you guys know. As is, I think his status as a dud will kind of limit his value going forward... maybe I'll have to start going on about how secretly awesome he is to improve my chances of selling him.

Yea, I don't think I've ever seen a Supreme Cheetor go for anything more than 20 bucks loose and 25-30 dollars boxed. If you're buying MISB Supreme Cheetors solely out the expectations that they'll someday increase in value, you're probably better off flushing your dollars down the toilet or feeding them to a paper shredder. At least that way you'll get some type of entertainment out of your money.

Fair enough. I'm not going to crap on toys specifically that I don't own(though there is a reason I don't own them), so out of the few movie toys I do own I'll say Barricade is the worst. His car mode is okay, which is why I bought him; but his robot mode is TERRIBLE. I mean, look at those arms!

I only had maybe 5 movie toys out in my collection, and since these pictures were taken I actually removed three of them. The only ones remaining would be the 1 or 2 on my Prime shelf.

I think so, he's about halfway down in my collection pics. Though he's now more commonly referred to as toddler fodder for my 2 year-old daughter to play with.

Beast Machines Mega Cheetor. His chest transformation required bending the laws of physics over a barrel and buying them dinner afterward. I got his cheetah-mode head stuck in there 5 years ago, still haven't been able to get it out. That, coupled with the fact that he CANNOT stand, make him my most-hated Transformer.

For me the worst transformer is the one that I brought home yesterday for my sick at home 6 yr old son that he hated so much it's being returned unopened today: Star Wars Transformer crossovers Y-Bomber/Anakin Skywalker.

Me: Hey Josh, I bought you a new toy!
Josh: Yay! I'll close my eyes, but I know what it is!
Me: What?
Josh: A new Transformer!
Me (feeling elated at his enthusiasm): Ooook, here you go (pull it out of the bag and place in his hands)
Josh (looking confused): WTH is this thing? Anakin can't transform Dad!
Me: What'ya mean, it's a Transformer! He turns into a robot, how cool is that?!
Josh: Dad. It's just not possible...(turns away in sadness at a toy for the first time ever)

Thanks a lot Hasbro...I felt like one of the toy executives in the movie "Big" when Tom Hanks is disgusted at the idea of a building that turns into a robot...lol

Armada Side Swipe, cause, he just looks like he transformers into a mutant robot, and not the cool x-men kind.

Beast Machines Nightscream, for not really looking that different when transformed, and being pretty hideous to begin with. Not to mention being so big for no reason.

ROTF Demolisher/Scavenger for looking half-way transformed. It looks like less of a robot mode, but more of an alternate vehicle mode.

Worst, mostly in comparison to others of their time period:

#1 worst: TFTM Deluxe Payload. Falls apart at a touch, huge plunger out his back, overall UGH.

#2 worst: ROTF Blademaster. Just plain ugly for a modern TF. Those arms were inexcuseable.

#3 worst: Going WAAAY back, Staxx. There is simply no official Transformer that is even remotely POSSIBLY worse than Staxx.

Sideswipe failed miserably. Agreed. I wanted to love him. I so wanted to love him.

I can't give specific answers as there are countless TFs that I decided weren't worth paying for and have since forgotten about.

Yeah he has cosmic rust but that adds realism for me! I'm happy with mine, no balance issues. I wish he had better articulation but otherwise he's alright.
