Since DD started a thread concerning the over saturation of the "B" in retail, reminded me of a similar situation in the 80s when, owing maybe to the kid friendly nature, Bb together with Optimus more or less still had their molds being pressed even way up to 1987(?)

So, I want to elicit a response on the sheer inevitability of having too much Bb out but to add to the wrinkle, if humanly possible, which would you prefer, a modernized Bumble B body with the butt ugly Bayformer style head or a modernized version of the Floro Dery style (similar to the Alternity releases)?

I for one am sick of the movie head version, though thats just my personal preference, What about you guys and gals?

I'm with ya. i hate the bay styled head. i just want to see a good ol G1 styled bee for once :BANG_HEAD:

Personally I stopped caring about Bumblbee once I got the Classics version and the repaints to convert into the other figures with the renderform kits. I haven't bought a post-Classics BB yet and I don't see the need with my collection structure.

Well, they have found another way to merge the two.... sorta. The latest Fall of Cybertron video shows Bumblebee with his more G-1 style head, but no voice..... insane!

i like the generations line cybertronian bumblebee as a whole.

but lets not exclude the animated line. as goofy looking as they come.

although i am remind of one G1 episode where we actually see bumblebees cybertronian mode and hes a floating pyramid

that was 'More than Meets the Eye Part 1', the very first eoisode, where he's a saucer.

I'd like a G1-style Bumblebee, but I too haven't bought a DOTM-Bumblebee or even TF:Prime one. and I don't intend to at the moment.

And for the love of Primus, fix his damned voice box! :BANG_HEAD:

Ditto for Soundwave. They have Frank Welker on the show can't they get out some distortion effects and give us some classic Soundwave voice? He doesn't have to talk up a storm, just, he'd be so much cooler if he could say something like "Lazerbeak attack" or "Soundwave superior, Airachnid inferior" when appropriate.
