a G1 style rifle for Optimus Prime

This was done by TFClub... their version of the gun (the one which lights up) is pretty neat in Classics Optimus Prime

As for my two cents... I think that original concepts like FP's Glacialbot would be much appreciated. (BTW what happened to him?). Another thing would be Fembots based on original concepts which are not a re-design for Arcee (whole figures or parts of)... (I've seen several different 3rd party Arcees).

1. Deluxe sized G1 Bumblebee w/ all the classic VW bug goodness.
2. Masterpiece Ultra Magnus w/ trailer

Speaking of headrobots from earlier... how's about an upgrade for HFTD Mindwipe? A new head, some weapons...

I'd really like it if all the 3rd party companies all created different versions & size levels of 1988 master force overlord.

Some 3rd party companies could make masterpiece versions,leader size,ultra size,voyager size,2 deluxes,& so forth.

maybe we can get the pre-power god master versions with no godmaster gimmicks. we can get the godmaster version with godmaster gimmicks. we can get a evoulved form like TFCC did.

Here's my extremly cool ideas for 3rd party Masterforce overlord toys. please let me know which version you prefer below:

I've got 3 different new mold Masterforce OVERLORD toy ideas,please
pick your favorite or create a idea of your very own.

BEFORE WE GET STARTED,What type of Transformers toy line do you want
to see a New mold masterforce Ovverlord toy get put in? Masterpiece?
TF Prime? Generations?


my first choice would be a masterpiece leader sized 9.5 inch tall
robot mode overlord toy. my 2nd choice would be a Generations leader
sized overlord toy. my last choice would be a TF Prime leader sized
overlord toy.


I kinda want the combined Overlord new mold toy to be Leader sized.
around 9.5 inches tall in robot mode. I don't want this overlord new
mold to to be supreme sized because it'll be out of scale with other
TF toys on display from 2001 thru 2011. I don't want this overlord new
mold toy to be 2 deluxes that form a voyager sized toy because it'll
be to under scale to the way the character appeared in the 1988 media
& toy line of masterforce.


Here's my 3 Masterforce Overlord toy ideas: please rate each idea &
how you like or dis-like it.


IDEA #1,This isn't really my idea,it's more of a general idea that has
zero imagination & sticks to the original toys 1988 masterforce
overlord formula. 2 voyager sized vechicles,a tank & stealth black jet
sold as a duo gift set inside a leader sized Transformers toy box. the
tank & jet don't transform into any individual robot modes. the tank &
jet are basically over sized Duo-cons that merge to form a leader
sized overlord robot mode. the tank & jet can transform individually
to form a city/base mode. the toy obviously wouldn't come with all the
accesories that the 1988 toy came with,we'd get the main weapons like
the huge hand gun & other main weapons. depending on the budget & what
TF toy line this toy gets made from,we may or may not get the 2
powermasters.


IDEA #2,This is where my imgination kicks in. (1) the tank would be
Voyager sized & transform into a Lion. the tank turrent would be the
lions tail,from inside the tank mode,a lion head will pop up,the tank
treads will transform into the 4 lion legs.(2)The Black Stealth long
Jet would be Voyager sized & transform into a Dragon beast mode,using
the long jet nose as the dragon head+neck,& it'll be a 4 legged dragon
beast mode,the jet wings will extend to form the dragon wings. (3)The
Voyager tank & Black stealth long jet will combine to form a robot
mode called overlord. maybe the tank/lion & stealth/jet will combine
to form a super beast like skylynx. if this combined beast mode
happens,then I want to see this toy get repainted into Skylynx. (4)
sadly they'll be zero room in the budget for a city/base mode.


IDEA #3,This is where my ingination gets creative & run wild. some of
you guys might love this idea more than #2. (1)A Voyager sized tank
than transform into a robot mode that resembles the powermaster robot
mode designs,including the helmet design & round humanoid limbs & all
the cyborg veins/wires/microchips on the body. (2) A Voyager sized
black stealth long jet that transforms into a robot mode that
resembles the powermaster robot mode designs. including the helmet
design & round humanoid limbs & all the cyborg veins/wires/microchips
on the body. (3) The voyager tank & voyager stealth long jet would
combine to form a super robot called OVERLORD that would be 9.5 inch
leader sized. it'll comes with the main weapons like the riffle guns &
smaller hand guns. maybe a sword. (4) they'll be no city/base mode.


IDEA,Please come up with your own unique idea for a new mold
masterforce overlord toy.

Pounce and Wingspan, with a lot of effort put into making both robot modes as identical as possible. And... go!

Masterpiece G1 Shockwave.

C'mon guys, it wouldn't be that hard, and if it were about the same height as MP-10 in robot mode it probably wouldn't be too pricey from a materials standpoint.

My other two greatest transforming robot needs have either already been met (Devestator) or are in development (Masterpiece-ish Soundwave). Make it so.

We need an MP Shockwave yesturday. I couldn't vote this idea enough. I'd love if they gave him a gun mode that was sort of like G1, but also featured a Galvatron-like mobile turret mode for us realism freaks (with the gun mode obviously top priority and not worked out from the turret mode).

Although I really did like P/CP as a kid and still do.

A new rotor attachment for Movie Voyager Blackout, so that it can enable the tail rotor to come off and be used as a chainsaw, as well as have the extra parts fold up and away, freeing up the legs. I really wish someone make this.

Oh, and I votes for the 1st overlord idea.

The second is also sweet, but I would really love the base made to be part of it.
We definitely need an overlord figure thats a nice leader size. NEED BIGGER CONS!

Darkwing figure that can combine with Botcon Dreadwind to form Dreadwing. I know, there's a fanmode out there that uses the ToysRus repaint, but... meh.

There's just so much potential with all the connection points on the Classics Jetfire mold. I'd like to see a 3P's take on it. Not to mention, a stand alone figure would be pretty boss (especially if FansProject includes it as part of the Heartsmaster series).

Man I thought there was going to be at least 1 or 2 classics from g1 announced at Botcon. And I thought the rumor was Trailbreaker was in the works for Hasbro.

Big Road was developed only as a prototype. They didn't intend it for production at the time.

Maybe that will change

PREDAKING! But sized with Hercules how the G1 Predaking was massive compared to G1 Devastator

But seriously, I'd like to see updates on all the combiners, done well, by either Has/Tak or 3rd party companies.

Also some of the City bots, like Trypticon, Metroplex..... hell all of them would be nice.

Currently I am happy for the 3P's to continue with their amazing Gestalts and improving the poor quality Gestalts that we already have. (Energon anyone?)

Ariel Appendage kit was my first move in the 3rd party circles, the improvement that it added to my pretty poorly constructed Superion was a much needed breath of fresh air and in my opinion my best opening to the 3rd party market.

The improvements made to Bruticus Maximus from FP were incredible, and left me wanting more. Then with Maketoys and TFC rebuilding the Deva-cules Giants pure amazement... (Still awaiting certain parts but very impressed so far)

I have also placed my orders for the Iron Army improvements for the Power Core combiner line, and am still not sure with which torso I will be using these yet.


Now these companies are looking at the Technobots and Arielbots (Project Uranus) I can not wait and I will be placing my orders for these as soon as they come about.


So, with that said, you will not be surprised that I would love to see them put together a rather good looking set of Protectobots, Stunticons and the Predacons. All along the same scale as the afore mentioned units, maybe making Predaking more to scale with TFC's Herc instead of Makés Giant... As he was always bigger.

As well as a 3rd Party having the balls to attempt Sauranulus, the combined strength of the Dinobots. Anyone up for that challenge?


I also agree on standardised Weapons lockers, I have quite a few bots that I would like to give a bit more...fire power too, and would really like to see a 5mm pegged Megatron in gun mode that I could place with a few different primes.

I also would love to see more target masters added to our listings.

I was thinking along similar lines the other day, only with the PRiD line more in mind. My major stumbling block was how the hell you'd make the Apex armour so that it could be worn by a variety of figures. Scaling to Cyberverse may help to make that less of an issue. Ultimately though if such a set ever came about I'd sacrifice adaptability in the armour so long as it looked boss on Starscream.
