SICK BURN.
Although, yeah, I'm actually more shocked when TFs DON'T use the 5mm peg. It's pretty much the standard for mainline deluxes/voyagers and has been for a damn long time.
Pretty much? No, it's the straight out standard and has been for years. Bin/Alt and Alternity are the only line that don't use them, but Bin/Alt predates the idea I think.

5 mm pegs and holes became the overall standard in 2002 with Armada. But before that the size was used somewhat consistently in G1. In fact, try switching weapons around between Metroplex and Scramble City Leaders.

Valandar wrote:It's possible to use certain LEGO connector pieces to allow a figure to hold a Minicon in a 5mm hand hole by plugging the connector into the Minicon's port, and then putting the other end into the hand. It's the connector that has one end as a VERY short X-girder, and the other end as a very short open hole tube.
EDIT: It's this Element ID part: 4666579 if you go here: http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Pick-A-Brick-ByTheme

PRiD Wheeljack has several spots for his swords aside from the pegholes on his shoulders:
1) Underneath the vehicle mode
2) Under the front of the car, sticking out in front like an attack mode
3) Right next to his head are two slots they can slide into for easy storage
Quite versatile, isn't he?
