I recently won a Titanium Cheetor off Ebay for a really cheap price (8 bucks MISB). I've been bulking up my Titanium collection, and I figured Cheetor would fit in perfectly with my display. However, here's the problem; I had already purchased Cheetor when the figure was released in stores along with The Fallen. When I bought him, though, I remember transforming him from Robot to Beast mode, but I couldn't get him back to Bot mod. The reason for this was because his Bot mode head had gotten stuck. I spent about 2 hours trying to get the damn head to fold out, but it was stuck within the figure's chest cavity. By the time I DID get the head out, I had accidentally broken the chest piece. I ended up returning the figure and I couldn't ever find it again...so I kind of considered the figure a lost cause.
Fast forward about two years (now) and I'm remembering how great the figure really was. Really solid and a well representation of a great BW/BM character. So yea, I won him in an auction Thursday and now I'm worrying about whether this new figure will have the same problem as my old one. Is this head getting stuck thing a common problem for this figure? Because I just got done watching a Youtube review of the figure and the exact same thing happened to the reviewer (only he managed to get the head out off camera without destroying the figure like I did). I ask because I REALLY don't want to transform the figure and them have him get stuck in Beast mode.

You returned a broken figure? Not cool dude. Not cool.
When it comes to the Cheetor you have now, just leave it in the box. I'm sure you have some sort of attraction to the Titanium series, but I just don't get it.. Paint chips too easily and the figures are bricks. Plus, there really isn't anything stopping you from doing the same thing again..

Sorry man, I didn't know returning a broken figure made me a bad person. I mean, I followed the simple as hell instructions on how to transform him and his head got stuck despite this fact. I didn't really do anything to screw up the transformation, so I figured there was a flaw in the figure. When you pay over 20 dollars for a figure that breaks on the first transformation despite following the directions, wouldn't you want your money back?

Alright, fair enough. I guess Hasbro's Quality Control is the one to blame here. How do you display your Titanium figures? In Robot mode or Alternate mode? I just don't think the possibility of jamming the head into the chest again warrants another try.
