I already own ROTF Leader Buster Prime, and I really miss the chrome and superior paint-apps in this new toy. That said, I can't deny this Jetwing Leader Prime looks awesome. Totally bad-ass !

Is it better than Ultimate Prime ? Maybe yes, maybe not. I don't care, I know I will end-up getting both at the end ... :-)

Again, I just don't understand the point of not having the chrome finishing in order to save some US$ 20 or 30 on the final price this already so expensive figure.

Gotta say I am not impressed, the grey plastic makes it look VERY cheap, FFS takara you're already charging a lot for this toy, whats another few dollars/yen for some chrome? Oh well, looks like I'll be getting Ultimate Prime then, looks a lot better, and will actually have a trailer.

Seeing this only reminds me how much I regret not being able to afford Buster Prime. The wings still don't look accurate and the "hasbro" look doesn't make this worth the price.

I do hope he ends up as a leader version here in the states as the voyager, ultimate, and deluxe DOTM Primes don't do the CGI model justice.

Not crazy about the abundance of gray plastic. The pictures of the wing pack on Buster Prime look much better to me. Now, if they make a premium repaint of this set, I'll buy it and display Buster in alt mode.

I'm not sure, but I don't see any hook or blade attachments for the arms. If anything that looks like it improves on the poseability for this mold, especially if you don't want to have Prime in a fighting pose all the time.

If I had to choose, I'd pick this one over Ultimate OP. Sure, the mismatched gray and that weird "dog-penis" thing on his crotch are kind of a turn-off, but it's nothing a little silver paint can't cure. I like customizing my TF's, anyway. Ultimate OP, on the other hand, has an inaccurate jetpack, and WAY inaccurate bot mode. While the trailer's nice, but I just can't deal with the inaccuracy.

Don't really care for the "flying truck" mode, but I'm going to display him in jetwing bot mode, so there's no problem there.

I agree. This is the much better choice of the two. Considering you now have this backpack as an option, there really is no need for the transforming trailer. If anything, it now seems like a waste of money and time, to be honest.

I'm thinking a 3rd party or someone should create a trailer that could hold this thing (if it folds down), or give instructions on how to make one of your own.

TakaraTomy Optimus looks great, but the trailer is just ridiculous with all of the guns sticking out of it.
This guy seems to be the best one, so far. Give him a trailer and he'll be close to perfect.

Oh, and an accurate paint job wouldn't hurt...

My thoughts exactly. With a trailer to house the jetwings, this would be the perfect movieverse Optimus. I wonder if third party companies are interested in making something like that?

I'm wondering if the trailer for MP-10 Convoy [pre-ordered, major wallet damage] could be used for the ROTF/DOTM leader class OP truck? It won't be accurate, but it would be cool to have a leader class trailer.

From the pics, it looks like the swords have been removed. Then again, the owner of the figs could have removed them himself, so it's hard to say.

I hate to be the one to spoil the plot for TF4 but I'm reasonably sure that the Earth is going to be assaulted by an entire force of pissed off Gundam Fighters wanting to kick the **** out of Prime and the Autobots and take back their stolen armor. 8-}

On a more serious note, I have to say that this ranks right up there with just about every other DotM toy I've seen. :SICK:

Gotta agree with you, Fairy Princess Prime is a huge P.O.S. compared to this. I really like Jetwing Prime, but I don't really want to buy another Leader class(I already have the ROTF Leader class). If they did a Voyager version though, I'd be all over it.

You guys do realize the wings are adjustable on the ultimate Prime and they aren't stuck in the butterfly position, right?

I'm not really digging this one, it's just Optimus with an awkward backpack. I'd rather get the other one.
