And as I've said since day one ... they wouldn't put money into a cartoon series and not have a corresponding toy line. It just wouldn't make sense to do that.
I have a feeling that the Hasbro rep misspoke. Probably meant to say something like "the toys won't debut until later" or "there are no plans to release the toys by the start of the show" or something along those lines that alludes to the toys coming out at some point, just not when the show debuts.

Misspoke or not, they outright said that they weren't planning on a toy line for this. I mean, it was even asked again for clarification sake. I know it's all kind of suspect since we couldn't record that stuff, but they said it.

Guess I'll have to splurge on the Delecate Warrior version after all.

If you do go the Delicate Warrior route, it's pretty aces. I got the Impossible Toys Valkyrie first... I can't speak for anyone else, but that was a total turd, floppy, fiddly, non-pegging mess. I replaced it with the MGT-01 Delicate Warrior, which is a fantastic, sturdy rendition that fits perfectly into my Classics season 3 shelf as Arcee. Pricey, but fantastic.
