This figure is nice and I'll probably pick it up, but it's no substitute for the G1 Arcee I was hoping for.

Guess I'll have to splurge on the Delecate Warrior version after all.

ill be sure to get this arcee when she comes out, but im still hoping for a more g1 style generations arcee

Oooh. Could this be the Arcee that showed up in the Wal-Mart computers? (Sorry if already asked and answered.)

If it is, I'm sorely disappointed, because we deserve a G1 Arcee, dammit. It's been long enough. DO IT.

Apparently the Starscream listed on the wal mart post is also a Prime version of himself as tfw2005 has pics of him posted up. So the very last wave going into DOTM will have TF:PRIME figures in it?

Edit: there also appears to be a Bumblebee heading out of Prime as well.

And as I've said since day one ... they wouldn't put money into a cartoon series and not have a corresponding toy line. It just wouldn't make sense to do that.

I have a feeling that the Hasbro rep misspoke. Probably meant to say something like "the toys won't debut until later" or "there are no plans to release the toys by the start of the show" or something along those lines that alludes to the toys coming out at some point, just not when the show debuts.

This has got to be my favorite style of transformers besides generations, Im gonna get all these.... Go Hasbro!

Did they technically lie? They did say there was no toyline planned but Arcee will probably be released in the Generations toyline.

Well, I like it. Not as sleek-looking as the show, but it works. Once again I wish she was pink for consistency's sake in my collection, but this may be the first Arcee I'm willing to pick up regardless.

I do hope we still get a proper Generations Arcee though.

So what's the big deal? They said it for whatever reason. And I said from the moment they said that that we'd get toys. They're never going to make a new Transformers cartoon and not have toys to coincide with the line. It would be a very poor business decision. Be happy that the toys have been officially announced folks!

I like the look of both bike & bot! I think I'll be joining others in repurposing as Chromia, unless I get swept into buying all the TF: Prime releases.

If you do go the Delicate Warrior route, it's pretty aces. I got the Impossible Toys Valkyrie first... I can't speak for anyone else, but that was a total turd, floppy, fiddly, non-pegging mess. I replaced it with the MGT-01 Delicate Warrior, which is a fantastic, sturdy rendition that fits perfectly into my Classics season 3 shelf as Arcee. Pricey, but fantastic.

Looks like my collection will finally get a fembot.

Disappointing for sure. As that listing was lending to a possible g1 inspired arcee.
What would be nice, is if down the road, this mold gets a pink and white recolor.

As much as I'd like to, I can't unless there calling the movie and generations lines complete.

YESSS!!!! It feels like Animated all over again! A line that I can genuinely get excited about!

Just pointing it out so that it can be remembered the next time we get a definitive statement on something from them. I don't care one way or another about whether these toys come out or not (It's good that they are, that's not my point).

Point is, if we're going to have direct communication from fan to company, I'd rather it be without any attempts to misdirect us or make something up.

It's like when someone mentions that a specific blue tank character should come out and someone else mentions that Hasbro said "we really can't do that on account of having too many tanks or too many blue toys on the shelf at one time". We repeat what we are told because there's no other gospel source of info. If the word from up high can't even be counted on, then all we're left to do is say, "Maybe..." in regards to everything.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate Hasbro's interaction. Don't get me wrong that I'd rather we have no Prime toys and that rep from BotCon be right. All I'm saying is that we count on them to provide accurate information to us. I don't expect inside information all the time nor do I expect company secrets and sales plans. But I don't want to see a trend where we are given information that is never meant to be accurate at a convention meant to cater to people who are devoting extra time and money to a franchise hobby.

I absolutely do not intend to sound like a dick with any of this, read it as slightly concerned, not angry or anything else.

This figure looks okay, but not great. I was never a very big fan of motorcycle Transformers, but I do kind of like the robot mode of this. I really don't like the head, however. I might get it, but definitely not as Arcee. I must say that I really despise Energon for ruining Arcee. It seems she'll be doomed to be a motorcycle forever, unless we really do end up getting one in Generations or RTS. (Yes, I do know about Animated, but literally every single other figure of her in the last couple years has been a motorcycle, and I don't like the Animated figure much.) I really hope this won't turn out to be the figure in the Wal-Mart listing form a few months ago. I think there might still be some hope, since I doubt that figures that are coming out this spring would be in the same listing as figures that are coming out in October.

Arcee looks ridiculously awesome! I can't even believe how great they got her to look. I am very excited for the Prime toyline.
