I posted this in the TF General as well, but thought of something else and I know that this board gets more traffic.

I do Toys for Tots every year and I usually buy TF toys. No surprise. This year I'll be adding GI Joes to the mix. I'm looking for suggestions for girl toys as I realized I've never bought a lil girl anything. So any tips and suggestions would be appreciated.

But I also posted this hear because I know that Walmart has some TF's for $11 (so I hear). They aren't doing it in my area, but I'd love for someone to help me out if possible. Can you let me know if any of ya'll can snagg like 5 of any kind of the $11 voyagers/ultras? I'll pay you for the toys and shipping. Just let me know here or PM me.

Thanks all!!

Have a happy holidays!!

I've got a mess of gift cards from Target, Walmart, and TRU to use fo rbuying gifts for the fam, but I'll try to fit in some TFT stuff. It's a great service, and the TFT motorcycle parade here in suburban Chicago is always fun to watch. Sadly, it's usually freezing out, so the hot biker chick skin exposure index (HBCSEI) is low.

I've bought quite a bit from Wal Mart to donate this year. Mostly Deluxe aize Transformers and few of the ROC GI joes. Being only eight and five bucks a piece it isn't that much of a dent in your wallet.

Normally I tend to be a little bit on the greedy, but this year I feel differently. I haven't been looking forward to Christmas for the last seven years since me and my fiance split and having Christmas just by yoursef kind of defeats the purpose.

I remember when I was young how great Christmas was (I miss those days) so i all I hope is that whoevere gets these gifts likes Transformers and GI Joes.

I buy 2 Transformers for Toys for Tots every year. However, this year was a little different. I went to Target and bought two FAB Transformers (Bumblebee and Prime) and as I was leaving, there was a woman outside with her kid (he seemed about 6 or 7). She stopped me and asked if I would buy some decorated candycanes from her because she's trying to raise money to buy gifts for her kid. She was staying at a battered women's shelter and would also give some of the profit to the other women there. I decided to buy 20 candy canes from her and give them to my students for Christmas. The candy canes were 2 bucks a pop, but I knew it was for a very good cause. As I left, it dawned on me that she wanted to buy toys for her kid (who was a boy about 6 or 7). Well dammit, boys that are 6 or 7 LOVE Transformers! So I went back and asked her if her son liked Transformers. The little guy got happy and said "YEA!". So I told him he could pick one to have that night, and another that his mom would give to Santa so he could wrap it for Christmas day. The kid gave me a hug and so did the mother. She thanked me and told me that since they left her husband, the kid had no toys to play with and she had no money to buy him anything. I said no problem and wished them a merry Christmas.

Yea...that made me feel really good. I know I didn't give anything to the Toys for Tots, but honestly, I'd rather see the child I'm giving the gift to rather than just drop the toys off in a box.

Plus, the kids in my class are REALLY excited about the candy canes that she decorated like Reindeers.

Some lucky kid is getting a rad Spider-man action figure that I picked out. It's been a pretty rough year for me, but I feel good knowing that despite my troubles I can still make someone else's Holiday seem that much better.

My girlfriend bought some Legos. She thought they would be good for girls and boys because they're gender neutral.

I bought these Cube world things, virtual people pet type digital interactive, whatever. I've had them a while, sitting in package. I meant to bring them to a party as like, a game or something for the drunks to mess with. I think toys for tots would find a better home for them.

Next time I'm at a store, I'm buying 2 good TF's and putting them in. No crap like that Helicopter who's name I forgot on purpose or the like. Now I have to find a box. lol. There is a serious lack of them in my area anymore. I used to see one at Walmart but since they upgraded, it hasn't returned.
