Sorry, I'm not paying 3rd party prices for the whipping boys of Rebirth and the Marvel G-1 TF comics. Think these guys hands down were the weakest team of Five, Generation one had in the 1980's.

What are you willing to pay third party prices for ? :lol:

For me, the fact that the throttlebots are so obsucre is the reason I love them. I dont want a shelf full of Just Primes, Megatrons, and Starscreams.

I'm in agreement with you here X. I love character diversity on my shelves. I have 1 Megatron, 1 Optimus Prime, 1 Starscream etc.

Agreed. Right now, third parties are the only place to find some obscure characters getting the classics treatment. And even some not so obscure like Computron, Predaking, Sixshot, Headmasters, etc.

Agreed. Right now, third parties are the only place to find some obscure characters getting the classics treatment. And even some not so obscure like Computron, Predaking, Sixshot, Headmasters, etc.

Not to mention that the Throttlebots are pretttttty cheap at the moment. At BBTS, Trace is 64.99 and Aurora is on clearnace for the low low price of 39.99!

For 3rd parties, that's quite the bargain.

Love the look of Goldbug here. I was actually expecting them to repurpose their new not-Bumblebee, but this makes more sense to me. While I was a little disappointed at first that this wasn't going to be a new VW beetle, the mini does make sense to me as keeping with the spirit of the vehicle and being something of a modern equivalent.

I'm a car lover and love these vehicle modes, which we mostly haven't seen for transformers before. The car modes are also to scale, which I am obsessive about vehicle modes being to scale (I know I'm in the minority on that one). So, whether true to original Throttlebots or not, I just think these are awesome, well designed, solid, and fun. As long as they continue down this path, I'm more than willing to have them take liberties with the vehicles they choose.
