Transformers: Chronicle set Question

As I understand it, the DOTM Deluxe Prime featured in the TF: Chronicle set has a trailer, compatible with both himself and the original G1 Prime. If DOTM Prime's trailer is compatible with G1 Prime, does the same work vice versa (G1 Prime's trailer fitting DOTM Prime) ? I'm just wondering, because the Deluxe Prime looks kind of squat between the shortened smokestacks and elongated back section. The trailer would make it look a little bit better by hiding the elongated back section.

No real way to know until they are released.
It would depend on what exactly was modified to make it fit on both. Either the figures were modified, the trailer was modified or maybe even all 3 in which case the hitch may different than the regular G1 hitch.
