If you feel that passionate, why don't you write to both Hasbro and Shout! Factory to publish the series on DVD? Because while Shout! claims that they cannot publish the animated movie, they never said that they cannot publish the TV version.

I am a fan of G1, for all it's faults,
the G2 Cartoon, I bought one of the DVD releases and it had the last three episodes of season 1 on it, with the space cube scene shifters instead of the spinning icons.
I was hoping for a cartoon featuring the G2 styled robots, not a fan of the 'g2' cartoon.

Didn't see this until now since it was de-news'd.
Had it come to pass, I would have supported G2 airing onthe Hub, as it would have resulted in FIVE Transformers cartoons airing simultaneously on the same channel!
