I was looking at the comparisons and I thought of something, those getting the two computrons to mix and match can use Hasbro's Lightsteed as CW Red Alert.

I was tentatively planning on getting both.

Red Alert more or less works. I stuck the shotgun behind his shoulder and it passes as his launcher thingy. Took a pic but the image site I use is down right now.


I'd also probably turn Hasbro's Nosecone into Guzzle. Give him a spare Superion gun on his back and mistransform his legs so that they don't extend, little bit of paint on the head/face. Not perfect but I think it'd be passable with minimal customization.

I do have a use for Hasbro Scattershot too- as a turret for Fort Max. Just not sure who he'd be as a Bot.


Who else can we easily repurpose from the two Computrons?

The Combiner Wars/Unite Warriors line has brought me back into the toy part of Transformers after a more than 10 year absence as many of you know. It has had some amazing results, but also some frustrating ones. One of them being…additional Voyager toys created with no “Real” combined form. Creations such as “Ultra Prime”, “Galvatronus”, “Betatron” etc… rely on you to use random limbs from other combiners. This is great for imagination, not so great if you are trying to build an army of combiners. So I took a long look at the unique mold usage of limbs from both the CW line, UW, and of course convention exclusives & TFSS. I came up with, what I believe to be the *best* way to obtain the most usage of all molds, and get the most amounts of unique combiners (to date…)…

4. UW-08 Computron
5. UW-EX Lynx Master

7. CW “Betatron” (Composed of CW Computron)

Unfortunately…two deluxe figures (BC 2016 Tigatron & Unit-3) are left out because in order to create Magnaboss you have to break apart Superion and Convoy Grand Prime. But it’s as close as I could get for now. Also I know some additional UW toys may be coming down the line, but still… an army of 18 basically completely unique combiners is pretty impressive.

With the way my combiners ended up, both of my Prowls and Ironhide were available along with my Sunstreaker which I customed along with one of the Prowls using stickers from Walmart. So, I bought another cheap Silverbolt and got the stickers for $5 on Ebay and badoom!

Well sure its easy enough to purchase additional toys, but I was hypothesizing having one of each unique toy. Still huge points for creativity

Does he? Has it been confirmed Bluestreak is the 5th Member of Wreckage? TF wiki still says "Mystery 5th member" which I assumed was next years TFSS 5.0 bonus figure, since it is the only one not revealed.

If that is the case...then TF wiki needs to be updated...it still says Wreckage has a "Mystery 5th member" which I assumed corresponded to the only other figure (TFSS 5.0 #7) which has not yet been revealed. If it does turn out to be so...I'll just swap out Bluestreak on Optimus Maximus to be whatever that *mystery* figure is, or if that Mystery Figure is not a CW Deluxe, then I'll give Op Max Unit-3 then Tigatron will be all alone... .

Bluestreak was a "mystery figure" for the 4.0 TFSS. Or at least, he was supposed to be before his factory samples got leaked.

As for the Wiki still keeping him a secret, the Wiki tends to wait on adding Fun Pub material right away so as to let it all get released to everyone first without spoiling things too much. And in this case, the story that will have Bluestreak become part of Wreckage hasn't been released yet, so once that comes out and makes Bluestreak's Wrecker membership official, the Wiki will probably get updated by then if someone else doesn't go ahead and jump the gun on adding Bluestreak in.

i don't think Armada Thrust did either, so that's also possible. Tbh, I'd rather get that in his red 'Powerlinx' deco because it would feel like getting an updated Armada show character we're unlikely to see at retail ever. Plus it fits the Club's M.O. of releasing decos that never made it to America, only on different toys.

If we're going with the seeker theory; since it's a club exclusive and there's no sets to complete, I think we can easily say it's an obscure one. Red Wing, Sunstorm, Sandstorm...

All honesty though, I still find it odd how they went for G1 Starcream Toy deco instead of Red Wing for the calssics mold. It really felt like bottom of the barrel in terms of redecos possible.

Looking back, most of these have come through... still interested in what the heck the Decepticon Clones thing is about - considering Horri-Bull is mentioned as Headstrong instead of Pounce and Wingspan??? - and holding out for Brawn, Delta Magnus and Tidal Wave

Okay, so I was close. But since this is neither Horseshoes nor hand grenades, I get nothing.

But anyway yeH, I don't usually double dip on a mold, but if we really do get Broadside, and if that possible a roadside is also given a Tidal Wave headmaster and paint job, I probably will. I love love LOVE Tidal Wave.
