Still ahead of me.
Just sitting here waiting for Takara ...

Hasbro! We need Combiner Wars Predacons! I am wondering if, to make it more g1 accurate, they'll make Predaking a Titan class figure like Devastator... But it kinda would seem odd for them to release 2 Titans in a small amount of time, so idk, but we need the Predacons guys! I'm counting on you to make em good!(I also think a Dinobot Combiner Beast would be cool but we need Predaking more.)

Predaking and Abominus! (Piranacon if generous)
We gotta shore up the Con's numbers! Outside the titan class, Menasor's having to rassle two at a time, and by the time Bruticus shows up there'll be three more Bot teams.
CombaticonsCombine? wrote:As much as I was looking forward to getting him, though, Dead End is (ironically) SADLY the weakest figure. It may be just me, but he has weak tab connections, his transformation is satisfying, but endlessly stubborn, and his combiner peg is RIDICULOUSLY hard to get out.

Ikr? Pluss, I'm very curious to see how Hasbro/Takara designs a CW Gestalt that is, not made up of vehicles, but animals!

The simple answer is: that they aren't doing them; at least for the next couple of years

If you can find somewhere that still has him for a reasonable price, get Brake-Neck and ditch your Dead End. The Stunticon formerly known as Wildrider has better connections and can actually hold his combiner kibble weapon. (though the combiner peg is still annoying).

How do you know? Do you work for Hasbro?

When asked at botcon, they said they had no plans to do any beast combiners. Take it with whatever grain of salt you want, but a confirmation is still a confirmation.

Agamemnon, barebacked rider of flying robo-dragon, and not often constipated either...My nephew wrote:Bacon is meat candy.

Ok thanks for the info, I had no idea. ;_;

Sorry, being that guy, I hate getting my hopes up when everyone else knows something I don't.

MAAAN can you imagine buying him just for the fixed gear? I've not disassembled any of them so I can't tell you what they changed internally, but they didn't change the angle of the thigh plate that folds up.
P.S. Bought in Malaysia, as usual patchy with none of the Wave 4 limbs in sight.
Nemesis Primal wrote:Hellscream9999 wrote:I kinda just thought of it, but aren't CW Menasor, op/b.c.op, and defensor part of the breast-force now?
Not really, the Breastforce partners were chestplate/animal/weapon.

albnok wrote:Are you referring to my video? I was trying to show that Battle Core Optimus Prime had 5 clicks while Motormaster and Optimus Prime had 4. Nothing at all to do with crossing its legs LOL. Battle Core Optimus Prime gets the thigh angle right at 2 clicks, while Motormaster and Optimus Prime are supposed to be somewhere between 2 and 3 clicks, hence the inability to stand properly.

Because Alpha Bravo is his right hand bot?
Literally!

No it was not clear to me your intent with the video clip, I thought you were showing the leg could move past parallel one extra click.
The best way to show of the leg fix you say they have is to show the angle difference in gestalt mode or robot mode side by side with the unaltered ones. as we all know Optimus feet do not sit properly in those modes.
I was not seeing that in the video demonstration so I didn't know what point you were making. I didn't 'count the clicks' I suppose.
I'm glad they noticed though and any improvement is better than nothing.
I wonder if it's worth pestering Hasbro Customer service to make spare ratchets available for the other moulds too ?
I'll be curious to see when my Grand Scourge arrives if it's fixed or not too.
