While none of these reveals appeal to me I do think camo Bulkhead looks kind of neat and possibly better then his regular deco. If he had a different shaped head I'd be inclined to buy him as a random background bot.

I'm glad I didn't buy retail Bulkhead, I much prefer this deco (more colorful, also closer to the vehicle mode inspiration of Movie Hound) and also it comes with more anyways so I'm not missing anything out by getting this instead.

But yeah would of prefer a new character, Pyro would of been nice.

Why Topspin and Twintwist seem not to be packed together for a release baffles me.

Lmao so as it turns out, the digital renders look like ass
But the figure actually looks pretty good in the other photos. The head matches the body and the camo is more subtle, guess ill be getting this version after all!

Its hilarious how quickly I've changed my tune just from seeing the other pictures

The bright camo and metallic head looked disgusting

But from the actual product shots I love the darker green because its closer to animated and the camo looks pretty cool. Plus no energon gun and a hammer. Already preordered

This Bulkhead repaint looks surprisingly good, a huge step-up from the standard retail version. It's been years since I've watched Transformers: Prime so I didn't even realise that was Breakdown's hammer until others in this thread pointed it out. I haven't pre-ordered any of these Wrecker sets yet, Bulkhead may be the only one I go for in the end.

assuming they have no plans for a topspin, then yes, terribad idea. But releasing twintwist through Amazon and maybe later topspin through selects, getting to charge full price for two molds that are just repaints, now that makes financial sense. They KNOW total suckers, like me, would be dumb and blow their cash to get both. gotta recoup them thar remolded bits on them boney bots somewhere.

Even if the retooled bits are only that hammer and Impactor's head and chest as Leadfoot's head is seemingly built in? :P

FINALLY a Hammer accessory for Arms Micron Breakdown!

Oh, and a Bulkhead repaint.

I actually like this color scheme. I almost wish I had waited for this instead, but seeing it in store was too much of a lure.

As it stands now, Leadfoot is the only preorder I have in. I might go back for Impactor on Amazon. But a must have he is not. I have not decided on Twin Twist yet either

I wish they sold the two Fossilizers as a pack instead with other guys, they're really the only ones that I want (with Leadfoot at a close enough #3 to justify pre-ordering his set, unlike Impactor's since I have no need of him).

I’m not a huge fan of the G1-ified Prime characters, especially Bulkhead’s mold. I’d maybe consider Knockout but that’s it so far. However, I do like the camo, and the Wreckers insignia. It makes him feel more like a distinct G1 character. If I end up trying to get the Wreckers, I would definitely include him.

This "collection" could have been a whole lot more. Impactor's initial reveal got my hopes up that we'd see the original Marvel UK Wreckers but that's not what we've gotten.

Instead we get a mish mash of Wreckers from various continuities and ... a hammer.

They could have gone the BAF route and given us Emirate Xaaron, but no, we get a hammer.

And a dodgy looking Bulkhead.

I have yet to buy any Fossilizers and this was a good chance to pick up a couple, but why would I want to own a Leadfoot without the rest of the Rotor Force? Once again, Hasbro not giving a full team.

meh.

Razorbeast88 wrote:Wow this looks not great. I was really hoping for a TF:A paintjob/remind so I guess ill get the regular release version now. The hammer is cool but the paint job is messy looking and the colors on the head don't fit. A new headsculpt with the beard wouldve been awesome. Oh well

SpaceEagle wrote:I s'pose this works for people wanting a more interesting colour scheme and paintjob for Bulkhead than plain greys and unbroken greens. I'm wondering if recolouring Bulkhead's big lower jaw all black (to make it resemble a big beard) would help with turning this into a custom Legacy AoE Hound!

But so far the only figure that has personally interested me was Leadfoot. Gotta love me some G2 callbacks.

The fact people keep making these observations just proves to me why this mold doesn't work for Prime Bulkhead, and the military camo he never used really doesn't help. Was it really that hard to give him a truck mode? Or just call it Animated Bulkhead at least?

Honestly, if not for the hammer ("which one?" yes), probably way out of my radar.

As for Twin Twist, I'm a bit disappointed we're still getting a Headmaster for a character that never was a Headmaster in fiction before TR. Then again, if any deco deserves a miniature pilot for vehicle mode, it's the Diaclone one.

On another note, apparently Spindle's chestpiece and Masterdominus' mammoth head combine into a new combiner head. So, figuring out another combiner with these two will be fun!

You should know by now Hasbro deals in such shenanigans.

I'm not particularly invested in thus mold at all, but could 1 version represent Prime Bulkhead and the other Animated Bulkhead?

For me, the Legacy mold don't represent any previous "Bulkheads". He needs to me more "fat" to fit any of those previous roles. The repaint will be my "true" Generations G1 AoE/TlK Hound. I'll be waiting for an accessory kit with an alternate head and a couple of guns to make it perfect.
