Nemesis Primal wrote:Ah yes, because how could I forget that the only thing that is truly G1 is the animation error that is Bombshell's Sunbow bot mode colors, and not his G1 toy, packaging art, comic appearances, and/or his alt mode colors in the same show. That's clearly why every iteration and appearance of Bombshell that's ever come out since the Sunbow cartoon has made him that iconic grey, right?Sowndwave76 wrote:Nemesis Primal wrote:....oh no, they did use that picture, didn't they.Sowndwave76 wrote:After seeing the image of Bombshell shown during the stream, I’m hoping that was a hint they’ll be making/painting his torso gray and not purple…
But who knows, Shrapnel’s back is purple and not black.
Yes, and rightfully so.
I’m a G1 fan that has never demanded or wanted everything to be G1.
But when figures of G1 characters are made,
I want them to look G1, not “G1”.
Oh wait, not a single use of the character since Sunbow has been grey, because the Sunbow grey is incorrect and he's supposed to match the other 2 Insecticons.
Unless you have a suggestion for how he's supposed to change colors when he transforms in a way that doesn't compromise the figure, so you can have your animation error and I can just skip that step and leave him correct in both modes?
They certainly could do that, that thought also occurred to me, but I'm concerned they wouldn't.-Kanrabat- wrote:Error Bombshell could be an easy exclusive or a Select that would shelfwarm like Red Swoop did.
Just sayan'.
Big Grim wrote:I like Emgo just fine. Not sure what about him is supposed to be "abrasive" but to each their own.
That Armada Prime though. That REALLY is a must buy!

I think I remember the developer behind-the-scenes for those sets saying they were interested in doing more "if these sets are well-received and sell well", so I would guess either they didn't sell well enough or they didn't have conclusive sales data in time to get more Wreckers out this soon.o.supreme wrote:However I thought it was mentioned that there was going to be a 2nd set of wreckers? I still would like to get a diaclone colored Topspin at some point.

I'll have to respond to this later...
I have that upgrade set and haven't added it yet.
But from the reviews I watched I'm confident I'll find it's a worth-while purchase.

They admitted in the stream that they took that from the Aligned continuity. The toy itself is a hodgepodge mixture of designs from IDW, but with the data clerk job added in, too.sol magnus wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Except, Optimus was never called "Orion Pax" in Dreamwave. True, and I should have mentioned that...but he was never a data clerk (well, that we saw amyway) in IDW.

FrankenPrime? Or FrankenPax?Sabrblade wrote:They admitted in the stream that they took that from the Aligned continuity.
