Wow Arcee and Tigatron both look great. To me it looks like Arcee's chestplate should sit higher. I guess we'll know once we get some product shots. Either way I don't collect MP so it's nice just to look on at. Arcee does look to have an enormous backpack though.

Maybe, but there are plenty of other precedents to tap first.

Personally, I'd most want a Marvel-accurate Arcee, with white face and lots of lavender.

And enough fans must want her in the colors of the G1 toy we "should've" gotten in '86 to justify a Blurr-remold-prototype repaint. Sure the orange and raspberry colors make no sense, but an Arcee that looks like she transforms into rainbow sherbert could be justified as a BotBots tie-in, making her the equivalent of a Shopee.

Oh, and could this mold be retooled into a Headmaster?

I just hope the evil redeco isn't Nightbird. That was fine for Legends/Generations, but for MP Nightbird? Ehhhh, no.

Definitely getting this, but with so many 3P ones to choose from, I'll have to see if MP Arcee can do everything they can before passing on them entirely. The tire shredder/flipper is an awesome touch, but there's surely a few features on Rouge and the aforementioned upcoming one that the official deal won't sport. I'm also interested to see just how the backpack folds up.

seems like they just scaled up cheetor and gave it some new heads. not mad though, better than a straight repaint/remold like the seekers/coneheads.

Man,I already respect the level of engineering it took to make Arcee.
Tigatron looks very fierce.His Transformation looks simple,but it does everything it needs to do.

I hope future masterpieces get this kind of love.

Well that settles the debate we had here long ago, over Tigatron being a redeco or new mold. A new mold is inkeeping with the 'show accuracy' ethos of the BW line. Which is good news! So long as they remember to include the missile launcher in his wrist... That Cheetor didn't have.

As good as the figure looks though, considering they rushed out a new Nemesis Prime to fill the MP-49 slot, Tigatron seems a pretty lacklustre choice for the milestone 50th MP slot :???:

As for Arcee, while it is nice to FINALLY see someone in the G1 MP line that isn't the endless ouroboros of rehashing Season One and Two and I get why they did it (Fem Bots are 'in' right now, and the others are largely minor retools and redecos of Arcee anyway) She's just not the Movie figure I was hoping for...

Excellent! It has been a pretty big day for news, so I've only been skimming so far. As for potential redecos of Tigatron, there is only one Cheetor Season one variant left now...

yeah, now that you mention it, it seems like only maybe the legs/maybe forearms could be just upscaled from cheetor. the crotch, chest and even shoulders look different.

At those prices weijang oversized generations arcee is going to be my mp arcee for a long while. MP Rhinox looks like it will be just short of Megatron if and when it happens.

Prices is an issue but it's not THE issue. The main issue is not enough interests to "upgrade" based on what you already have. I have that exact same feeling for MP Hound. I have the Alternator with Reprolabels and a one-of-a-kind accessory kit an old Seibertronian made me years ago. Even though I do have the cash for MP-Hound, I don't love the MP enough to get it. Especially when I already have what I consider to be the perfect "MP" Hound. Scale be damned.

As for MP Arcee, I don't have a "MP" scaled Arcee yet so I still have to decide on which one to get. But after seeing this:

The back pack was always going to be kibbly but at least official has a decent alt mode (unlike Leia) curves in the right places, mainly legs/hips (unlike fanstoys) and those rear pics of the legs look nice and no screw holes (unlike Fanstoys). Will probably have to wait for a youtubers comparison. Would be nice to upgrade my arcee and hoping for an official MP springer as I've not been 70% convinced on the options available so far (as long as they do it more screen accurate than the siege figure otherwise third party will win out).

Leia was complete garbage. The vehicle missing it's rear and you must remove the hands for transformation. Unacceptable. So far, Rouge is the better one for the kibble. But of course it's "let's wait and see" for now.

I hope you guys can help me with a question concerning an MP-10:

Here's an MP-10 for sale, the seler says it's an actual Takara MP-10, not a K.O.
Judging from the grille and the screwhole on his pelvis, that seems to be true. His arms also have very neat diagonal joints where the hands fold out.
BUT: he has silver stripes on the feet! And the ladder on the side of the cab is also fully painted silver.

What version of MP-10 is this? (and what would it be worth 2nd hand?)

Ahh, sorry about my post a few pages back. For whatever reason my phone was cutting off the pics and made it look like there was nothing in bot mode. This thing looks amazing. Definitely taking a wait-and-see approach after hearing about the QC on hound, and I'll probably wait for a sale, but this is on my must-have list. Now I wait for Kup....
