If Hasbro employed space saving molded plastic shells that are similar to how the Alternity figures are packaged, I would very, very happy.

I don't mind since I would ideally have all my figures out of the packages for display. The only other option I would like is packaging like Alternity or something similar to Human Alliance but with less wasted space. The HA packages are easily twice the necessary size for my preference. Aside from that, though, the HA boxes are sharp and great for displaying figures within.

I agree, I wanna pick up another HA SS and HA BB if they ever go on sale to keep MISB.

We all recycle over here, I've been brought up with it, metal goes to metal, plastic and other artificial things go to the plastic, paper and cardboard goes to cardboard, plant waste goes to organic waste or our compost heap, meat if it's still good goes to the dog, the rest all goes into the garbage.
The streets are also mostly clean it also healps that we have grate street-cleaners over here.

everything gets put out for recycling in our house, but it's a matter of whether the recycling lorry ever turns up most of the time. as soon as i can no longer physically get out the house for piles of bottles, cans and bundles of magazines, my quality of life take precedence over saving the planet.

as far as TF packaging goes, they already do the legends class figures marginally cheaper in little clear bags in addition to normal packaging so i don't see why they couldn't adopt a similar approach for voyager and delux class stuffs. Although since a lot of my toys have been flown from asia packed in fistfulls of non-biodegradable polystyrene monstermunch, i dunno exactly how much difference it'd make to my burgeoning carbon footprint...
