It just seems to me that Hasbro not only made this mold for Octane, but for Nemesis Prime. It just works too well. It would be great to finally break the habit of Nemesis Primes and Scourges being Takara figures.
I can tell you are a young one. Of course it works well since RID Scourge (who you call Nemesis Prime), is a redeco of Lazer Prime, the toy who this mold is based on.

So, Hasbro made him in mind to be the original toy. That original toy, also happens to have a redeco, but the main hommage with this mold is G2 Lazer Prime:

Especially when they're limited to two voyagers per wave at most. I mean we've got Broadside, Tidal Wave, Octane, Blitzwing and Vector Prime from the rumours; if they do do a Nemesis/Scourge I doubt it'd be mainline.
Where did this stinkin Tidal-Wave rumor come from?!I thought we were still missing a con for Broadside's wave. People were saying that they would probably rerelease Galvatron for that wave. I think if they replaced him with Scourge it would OH so sweet.

Nemesis Prime seems like a more obvious choice to me that Tidal Wave. Just sayin.
The Tidal Wave rumour came from the same place all the other rumours came from - the podcasts, which have correctly predicted every single release in the line so far. It's the single reason people started thinking the recently leaked Broadside had a Tidal Wave head.

Wait a sec, can we give links? There has been a lot of speculation but here are the only facts we have about the 2017 voyagers:
TR 2017 Voyager wave 1: Optimus Prime and Megatron
TR 2017 Voyager wave 2: Broadside and previously released toy
TR 2017 Voyager wave 3: Octane and Blitzwing
We have no clue what Wave 4 is. Tidal Wave is not a single release, he is part of a boxset, this was confirmed by multiple sources.
Although getting 3 of the same Voyager Optimus mold in one year would be rough, but there is precedence...

Its all in flux, anything could happen. This year we have 7 mainline voyager toys so thats diferent from last year.
Also, Silly does bring a good point, why didnt Hasbro do a more toy accurate deco for Optimus. Looking at the mold, they really give all the details to imitate the toy but the colours are all different:

Me too, I just added Soundwave to my POL. Hurry it up Comps!
This is my first time ordering with BBTS. Can anyone tell me how the shipping charges work? I think I had to select a shipping method for Computron, and I had to pay for shipping on Soundwave today. When Comps comes in, do they re-figure the combined shipping?

or the reverse if the neck on a toy is to tight (like Sentinel Prime).
I'd think carefully before trying that though likely easier to stick a bit of extra plastic in the gap instead.

I just looked at Scourge, and this would be a very difficult proposition. There are no exposed screw holes. (Nice work Has/Tak!) There might be one under the chest sticker, but it doesn't feel like it. The only screw holes I see are behind the pinned hinges for the back wings. So, to disassemble the chest it would require unpinning the wings first to get to the screws holding it together.
This also makes it impossible to tighten the chest together to see if that solves loose head syndrome. I guess I'll just stick with some small pieces of paper or card stock. Seems to work well enough....

I agree that the paper in the head socket works well enough. It's the wrists that bother me the most. There's nothing exposed so don't think I can get any floor/nail polish in there. There nothing to take apart there either.

I see what you mean. If the wrists are closed up into the forearm, there is a little gap where I can see the pin. Perhaps, as I have seen some mention, if a syringe is used, some floor polish can be squirted in there.
Of course, not everyone has a syringe laying around...
