Trelve's Repaint Mcguffin#2 Classics Grimlock

Postby Trelve » Wed Sep 12, 2007 8:32 pm

Last weekend I nearly had a heart attack when I saw the only Classics Grimlock in the city at Sears. I took him home and I noticed they got the paint all over  , it was nasty. Fiddling a bit I accidentally(maybe) broke one of his legs and then found the wonder of green stuff/epoxy.

I'm partial to partial repaints. On with the show!

Alt mode, Dinobot 2 has a friend!

Where's that light comming from?

Remind me to fix some of those black lines, I'm getting tired of painting them on.

Not bad, but why you got rid of the light piping I have no idea. Red optics work so much better on Grimlock in my opinion, and light piping in general just gives that look of glowing optics which I love.

He looks nicer with the black-lines.

I really really need to give black-washing a go.

Love the Arcee too.

Well no, the figure itself when I bought it had alot of blotchy black all over. I had to scrape it off with my handy sewing needle.

I usually like the piping but gosh darn it, blue eyes! (even though red is too sweet on Grimlock.) I kind of regret it. Might have not done it if I had some sort of wash. It might change back to red, but im undecided.

Up next possibly, Movie Jazz with hands?!
