I'm intrigued by UM, but I am very happy, still, with my City Commander add-on.

It does! and it's the same with their Orion figure. We have one in the generations line!! A legend class version but still. lol

Given how many people seem to have cooled on City Commander over the years, nice to know I'm not alone in still loving the heck out of him!
mooncake623 wrote:I think that is Agamemnon. I never got a chance to own a city commander. By the time I got into Third party it was going for 300+ on ebay. I brought and sold the KO version cause it was crap. Now that he is affordable (relatively) I don't feel the desire to own him anymore. Still looking for a good magnus though. so I want to see if TW's version develops into anything.

Oh, terribly sorry and quite right. While multi-quoting, I accidentally misattributed Agamemnon's comment to you.
I got lucky with City Commander, as when I finally decided I wanted him, it was when he was originally going for over $300+ on eBay, and I was quite close to reluctantly deciding to spend that much. But it was right as Fansproject announced they were rereleasing him! Thus, I snapped up the rerelease as soon as it was available.
Not sure I'd have been as happy with him for $300, but for what I spent I absolutely love him.
Well, good luck to you here. I hope this one develops into something you can enjoy.

But if I do ever get into IDW megs, it would be nice that he gets his own mold in voyager scale. I can live without another ultra magnus. I guess toyworld is giving up on the headmasters and going IDW. Im ready for the next throttlebot. I wish they would put all these faction leader figures on the backburner...

It's FunPub. It's their specialty.

While I had no plans to buy this. I thought those non-throtlebots were doing well & were a huge hit. I saw a few youtube videos were the guys were praising the toys. From the videos, the toys released so far look to be top notch great toys.
If your referring to the delays in releasing these toys. I think the delays might come from TW doing too many different projects at the same time.
TW,As best as I know did decent work with Hegemon,Orion pax & those Eight inch Headmasters toys. So this seems like a decent enough of a track record to make fans confident that TW04 Bomber Hegemon & TW05 Ultra Magnus will be decent quality toys.

I think he meant everything that wasn't a Throttlebot. Is that what you are talking about too?
This is all so confusing, especially as we tend to use "not-" to describe things so as to not upset the intellectual property cart.
I think Shadowstream is thinking something close to my opinion. The Throttlebot homages so far have been quite nice! (I think this is what you are trying to say in reference to the YouTube videos, right?) Where Shadowstream and I may diverge is in Hardhead as I think he was very good. (Hardhead not being among the Throttlebot homages, it may not be to Shadowstream's liking.)
For the rest, I've heard bad things about Hegemon, though some here have praised it. I didn't like the aesthetics enough to replace my Classics version. Orion would be good except for that derned split chest.

100% agree on this. IDW Dreadwing is awesome. That Megatron repaint is awful.
