It looks good but something seems wrong with the way his fingers are holding the spinning weapon. They are stationary between the moving blades, wouldn't they get chopped off?

Probably depends on how far back from the blade they are. If for example there is a space between the actual hilt and the spinning blades then the fingers are relatively safe. But unless you blurr them a bit then it does look like the tips are in the path or above the blades and thus his fingers should be sliced and diced by now.
