I gotta ask,The Elephant in the room,Question. Why are there Two different colored sets for these add-ons? Is this a light from the camera reflecting on the toys on the pics issue? At any rate,I prefer the more bland,2nd colored add-ons parts pic.

I like the G-2 colors better on this mold than the G-1 colors. I'm simply not willing to pay the Takara $70+ price tag. I might be a buyer if Hasbro releases MP G-2 Sideswipe at the $35-$40 USA TRU price.

Yeah the G-2 Sideswipe head with that resculpted open grin mouth does bother me. But this is a easy fix. All I gotta do is swap parts back & forth with a MP Redalert head or a MP G-1 Sideswipe head.

Worse case scenario,If Hasbro refuses to sell MP Sideswipe in the states. I'll head on over to Ebay & get the KO version. Hopefully they have a KO MP G-2 Sideswipe version out.

I know this statement will upset some. But I wish Hasbro would do a MP Sunstreaker using the MP Sideswipe toy. All that's needed is a G-1 styled newer Sunstreaker head.

I'm actually shocked 3rd party companies haven't created a Sunstreaker add-on kit. with a Sunstreaker new head & accessories. To turn MP-12T Tigertracks into MP Sunstreaker. The limted release lower volume probably made it not worth doing it. I'm sure if Hasbro got lazy & did a straght up release of MP Sideswipe,recolored it yellow & called it Sunstreaker. Then a 3rd party company would step in & do a newer MP Sunstreaker head & accesories add-on kit for this.

In the bottom pic, the bandoleer and Rob Liefeld thigh accessory look like they are photoshopped in place. I wouldn't put much stock in colors or anything yet. It's early.

Good eyes observation. After a second glance. The second pic does look photo shoped. As the one of the grenades on the thighs looks a bit fuzzy near the bottom left corner on the grenade. the weapons belt on the chest doesn't look as actual dressed on over as the first pic one does.

Not liking the clear bandoleer, would much rather a solid color. I'm hoping this isn't the final version.

This set does look pretty cool, and if I ever get the G2 version, I might as well just pick it up to complete the preposterous look.

This upgrade reminds me of all the extra accessories that comes with a Twelve inch G.I Joe figure. Everything looks okay but I don't like the blue color on that utility belt. Would prefer the blue get changed to gold or silver.

Yup, I ate my words when I saw those.
It's odd that they choose those weird colours. But heck, this is Dr Wu, and he'll likely repaint this into comic accurate colours down the road.

At $20 this was an instant buy ... even with the doofy blue instead of the green pouches.

At $30, no thanks.
