ArrayArray agree with everything thise guys are saying. It is still on of my favorite Tf's in my collection. Ratchet joints are still tight and he has excellent articulation. My only gripe would be that his "heels" could have been slightly longer but most of the time that isnt even an issue.
If you haven't bought one yet, here is the cheapest i could find. http://www.ecrater.com/p/9509082/transf ... t-defender Granted, the shipping is 20 bucks.

Oh no no no. Don't recommend eCrater. People have been getting ripped off something fierce. Especially when it comes to TFs. Avoid eCrater at all costs.
You're better off going with that crappy Crave thing.
I can't wait for Kapow Toys to get their service started.
What makes Crave crappy? I haven't used it, but I have been thinking about it, so I'm wondering if I should avoid it, and, if so, why.

Re: Fansproject's Warbot Defender
ArrayArrayCity Commander is great. FP did as good of a job as anyone could ask for with that upgrade kit, but I only just downgraded back to Titanium UM. City Commander may be gigantic and awesome, but he doesn't feel right next to Classics Rodimus, Kup, Wreck-Gar, Perceptor, Galvatron, Scourge, etc. City Commander is still displayed though, just elsewhere in my collection.
Well then, harumph! City Commander looks like he works very well with a lot of the season 3 characters to me. Even more so with Protector in the mix. My opinion though. I don't have Kup or Perceptor yet, you enjoying them?

Protector looks really fun, but I like Hot Rod just the way he is. I'm really conflicted about getting one.
Kup, man, he is the greatest thing ever. Perceptor looks good, and so far I like him, but getting him into van mode was a pain the last time I tried. You really can't go wrong with either.

Having to use Facebook.
No international dealings for the time being.
Prices tend to be all over the place.
Kapow Toys out of the UK is working on getting their own marketplace and auction system going. It would allow US, Canadian, and UK citizens buy, trade, sell, to one another with real feedback, and protection for both sides. And without the use of Facebook if they listen to the people.
In time, if it works, I think they said they would make it open to worldwide customers and sellers.
It sounds far better than Crave, to me.

Either? I'm getting both as soon as I'm able! Kup looks fantastic to me and the iGear head looks pretty good too.

Kup's great the way he is. You don't need the iGear head. As a matter of fact, you don't need anything from iGear at all. Ever.

So much for waiting for Defender to jump above $200 on ebay before selling mine

ArrayArrayArrayI agree that $200 is really too much for this figure, especially if you're not 300% sold on him. They are releasing an "evil" version of him in an orange/purple scheme instead of the grey/green, if you're more interested in the figure than the colour scheme. It can always be repainted, or if nothing else it's an $80 "try me" that you can resell to someone who really wants it to get a feel for the figure and make a final decision about the $200 original down the line.
so wb-002 is a springer repaint is there confirmation anywhere of this? just curious.
it would seem they would have released that a while ago.
The release got delayed I think, but IIRC (and someone correct me if I'm wrong) there was a teaser image in the Protector comic that confirmed it's eventual release.
The way it was explained to me is that WB-002 will be a new figure. If it was going to be the repaint than it would be WB-001 followed by a letter like WB-001b or something. Nothing is confirmed though yet.

I have a funny feeling that WB-002 is Roadbuster

I would squeal with joy if it was.... But, the fact that another 3rd party group, NATO-bot I think, did a RB kit and the fact that Venksta is contemplating one leads me to believe otherwise. Normally, they try not to cross each others paths too often. I'm thinking it will be the Broadside figure FP hinted at a while back.
