i had really really hoped this fight would never show up. as far as im concerned omega supreme is the ultimate bad@$$ in transformers history. guys like grimlock and the dinobots are completly schooled when they get into a fight with the likes of shockwave and megatron, but omega shows up and either ends the fight, or it takes upwards of 3 combiners or a plot device to beat him. the city transformers always seemed a bit too far of a stretch for me, their so big can it even be called a battle when their involved? the entire war is dependant on which one of them wins for their team. when the entire fate of the transformers rests on one or two individuals, simply because their so massive it just lessens what all the smaller guys are doing.

but omega is just big and tough. hes still within a scale where he can go one on one with nearly all the smaller transformers and not have it look completely stupid. but, as much as i love him i dont think i could ever side against prime. hes prime dammit. it would take a while, and alot of skill, but in the end prime would win.

I seem to remember that Omega Supreme was classified a basebot and not a citybot. You know, big in size, but not terribly big. So he's right on the spot

And I laugh at the term 'cityformer'. I think 'large-building'former is the better phrase.

Optimus may know how to beat him by shutting him down, but in a straight up fight, even Optimus can't win this one.

Omega Supreme is bigger than Optimus. Tremedous strenghth and firepower. Omega will beat Optimus Prime.

I might be biased, but I would give this to Omega Supreme if only because I get the impression that Megatron would order the retreat if and when Omega showed up.

I mean he dwarfs Devastator and is capable of beating him one-on-one.

This fight is one of the most unlikely to happen since the two are incredibly loyal to each other. However, story scripts tend to introduce extreme influences that change alliegances. In that case, the outcome depends on preparation, both physical and psychological. Both combatants would be able to prepare sufficient deadly forces to kill their opponent. If there was no preparation and no assistance from third parties, it seems clear that Omega would win. He's much bigger, stronger, faster and better armed. However, as we've seen with Decepticons vs. Sixshot (IDW), Omega probably has a killswitch to prevent him from harming his friends. Optimus would probably try to activate the killswitch.
