Don't EVEN get me started on losing auctions by pennies. Some son of a bitch beat me by like a dollar on a Brave Maximus. :-x

Expect to pay a MINIMUM of $400 for a Brave Max w/box.

Out of the box he never goes above $400. That is getting close to Fortress maximus lose teritory...

Well I did just get one in box for $300 and one out of box (minus spike) for like $169 (both prices shipped).

But seriously, I look at it like this:

If you can afford a Fort max/Brave max, you CAN afford a $50-60 KO Sword to crown your collection with.

He just never seems complete without his sword. I felt that way when i first opened him. I was expecting a gun, something...but he has like only 5 seperate pieces.

Just kind of shocking.

But the original Fort Max had like 9 seperate pieces total.

They just deleted all the extras for the re-issue, which kind of sucks.

Agreed. Well, as yo know I got lucky and got a Fort Max Rifle with mine, so he doesn't look incomplete.

Oh the sword is a must. I want the red one. However, I want the blue one for Omega Prime as well.

So, its just like a few bucks more to get the set of all 3 on ebay.

So yea, it just got a little pricey lol. Since I'm going away on vacation this week, and then off to Botcon the week after, I'm gonna be smart and hold off till after Botcon so that I don't have to sell/cash in any investments pre-maturely as a result of overspending on TFs. :lol:

I think the pending doom of the thread might be a result of a combination of my renewed fiscal conservatism and having been away on vaca for a week.

OK, as promised, heres my Botcon haul list!

Ok, so I got a couple of boxed and bagged sets. Then I did laps around the Souveneir table and got quite a few of those.

Now on to the good stuff.

Picked up 2 Pepsi Primes. 24.99 each, what a bargain!!

Then I got a set of Black/Clear Starscream, a stand for Unicron, 4 boxes of Energon cubes, a little diaclone sized Spike and Sparkplug, a set of WST Dinobots, along with the xmas special one.

Then I proceeded to stare at Gold Jetfire for an hour. Finally, I tore myself away as the 1000 price tag was a major deterrant. :sad:

Haha, I saw some cool stuff there. In order of my amusement:

1) A guy in a wheelchair, who had a 4 foot long OP trailer. :grin:

2) The life sized OP painted Truck in Ehibit Room B.

3) A maybe 8 foot tall movie OP statue in the Dealer room.

Defiantely peruse the web for pics of these!

Man...I need to get a Unicron stand. How much was it? Of course I leave one orange in bot mode, the other orange in planet mode (minus the rings because missing parts) and the black on MISB.

The stand is awesome. It was 15 bucks from the Unicron.com table.

I took no pics, not much of a pic taker.

Lol, I totally want a handi prime figure. It was pretty cool.

I was tempted to load up on Pepsi Primes. We were allowed 3 each. But at the end, I was like F it.
