Motormaster wins this stronger more brutal and far greater endurance and stamina for Hotspot to effectively combat.

If Hotspot can get his shots in at a distance, he might be on even footing for a head on fight. It would be a completely up hill fight though, closer to rocky v.s. the russian, but the good guy's victory not ensured. Brutality is not always the most effective means of combat, but Hotspot may not be capable of finessing Motormaster either.

I think it really could go either way. Motormaster is obviously the favored to win though.

id say motormaster hes protected with his stunticon armor and he went one one one w optimusprime which was very lethal. i will have to say motormaster will win easily in truck mode

Motormaster may have gone one on one with Optimus Prime, but he got his ass handed to him in the process. I'd say Hot Spot could pull it off. Those fireball cannons are some serious firepower.

Motormaster being the psychopath that he is would go in all guns blazing, but miss Hot Spot with all of his shots. Hot Spot would then take him out with a kick to the metal cod piece

Imagine this:

HS challenges M to a high-speed ramming contest. M loves those.

They drive toward each other on a straight road.

At the last second, HS transforms and leaps over M.

He sends fireballs straight into M's body.

HS lands safely as M veers off the road in agony and rolls over.

HS fires more superhot balls into M, melting him steadily.

M can't transform properly. He's incapacitated.

Finally, HS kills him with his great balls of fire.

My basic point is that HS can outmanoeuvre M with skill and guile. HS probably wins.
