[Badass Grimlock]

Here is my first fanfic that revolves around the Animated universe.


LOCATION: RIGEL III
TERRAIN: STABLE, THICK, ROCKY
ENERGY RESOURCES: HIGH

Blaster looked over his specs monitor on his scout pod. This is the place! He thought. He was one of several Elite Guard Volunteers sent to find a mysterious mineral called Nucleon, his older brother Twincast being one of them. Well, technically, Blaster wasn't one of the volunteers, but when Twincast suddenly disappeared, Blaster took his place and became one. So then he was put in a scout pod, sent into space, and searched for Nucleon.

Now, his pod had just landed, so Blaster opened the airlock and stepped out. Blaster had gotten very anxious to find Nucleon, so the first thing he did was look in a deep crater. According to other Elite Guard cadets, that was the best place to find Nucleon. The further he descended, the darker it became. But the young Autobot wasn't afraid. Suddenly, Blaster saw a sharp glint of light. he turned on his headlamp. The incredible glare made it hard for his eyes to adjust, but in a few seconds, he could recognize it: A silvery hunk of crystal known as Nucleon! Blaster then clutched the chunk and tried to rip it out.

But the Nucleon would not budge. He then tried again, only harder. But still, the crystal would not de-root itself. "This calls for desperate measures," said Blaster, and transformed to his sonic drill mode. He then turned all the knobs and levers up to create the highest pitch possible, in an attempt to create a noise that would shatter the rock. He then traced a circle around the Nucleon with his drill bit, but didn't cut it.

Blaster continued to struggle with the Nucleon, not acknowledging that an unknown enemy was lurking in the shadows, waiting to strike.

The Autobot had about given up hope when the effigy leaped out at him, resembling a large mechanical insect, with long hind legs. Blaster let go of the Nucleon, which was still in the ground, and ran away in terror. However, the insect caught up to him and stopped Blaster in his tracks, and rapidly pummeled his face with his strong back legs. Blaster fell to the ground, still conscious, but overwhelmed by his attacks. "Who are you?" he muttered with fear. Then the insect transformed into a tall, slim figure with antennae and a red visor. The figure leaned down and said in a gruff voice:

"The name's Kickback. I'm a Decepticon."

Just as Blaster had gotten up off the ground, the so-called Kickback landed a swift karate chop on him, forcing the Autobot back down. Kickback then said, "If there's anyone who deserves a good fight, it's me. I was real good at Metallikato when I was your age. I never knew it would end me up here. But then again, nobody knows." Blaster crawled away in fear, but before he made it 3 feet away from the Decepticon, Kickback picked him up by the scruff. "Don't you run away from me. I'm not done with you yet," said the Decepticon.

Kickback then yelled, "When you are lying on a medic's stretcher and you finally come to, tell this message to your friends: The Insecticons are coming, and we won't go without a fight." Kickback then raised his fist.

"Farewell," he said.

Then he swiftly punched Blaster in the chest, knocking him unconscious.
