I need some help to turn a 4mm post into a 5mm. Would some nail polish layers be enough or should I do something more radical, as cut the post off and replace it with a thicker one?
I know this might sound as a stupid question to most of you, but I'm just a newbie kitbasher, I haven't much spare parts to work on and I'm afraid of messing everything up...

Nail polish or super glue would be your best bet. For a less permanent fix you could use fun tak.

Thank you very much! I was wondering if I could obtain a whole 1mm thickness more with nail polish, but I've never tried before. So I'll try it out.
