Unfortunately I played the **** out of 'em and alot of them broke and were lost. Guess you could say they were lost or damaged in Battle.LOL! I still have a couple though. I was a kid! If I had known 20yrs later how much they would mean in value and would've taken more care. lol!

Quite a few? yeah Ive had some.
Big Collection? Not really.
Please Ive met some who have had 10 times more than what Ive had.
I know I lost most of them. Like I said....If I had known then what I knwo now.

I gave them all away (to my sister's bf's younger brother) after realizing that I didn't play with them anymore. Along with my GI Joe stuff, M.A.S.K, He-Man, and Tyco/Aurora slot track sets.

Everytime they see my collection now and say something about me being crazy, I tell them it is trauma induced.

I had a vast collection of TF's.
A very large collection of G.I. Joes.
A fair collection of Master of the Universe (He-Man/She-Ra)
A unsurmountable collection of various other things.

Then one day, I decided that I didn't want them anymore. I gave them to a kid up the street. That kid must have been in Hog Heaven.

Then a few years ago, I pict up a 1/55 KO VF-1S valkyrie and my collection days began anew.

IF I would have kept my toys, then I'd prob have all of G1 TF's now. But, what the hey, that's life. Priorities change and we learn to move on.

a black Ironhide (may not have been an actual "Transformer", but it was my first)
EDIT- forgot about Seaspray and Warpath, they might still be in a box somewhere too. (I'm starting to think I had more than I remember; at almost 37, my memories of childhood are fading fast!)

I still have Prime and Grimlock, both lookign pretty shabby, and the insecticon might be in a couple pieces in a box somewhere w/ Whirl (I'd love to find that one, boy). FWIW I've started to appreciate G1s again, and I've recently bought re-issues or Commemoratives of:

Hoist
Inferno
Tracks
Powermaster Optimus Prime w/ Apex Bomber (God Ginrai)

I've been lucky to find excellent examples, I love all the chrome on these guys!

my brother and i had the entire g1 collection back in the day. sadly, one day my mom decided that we were too old for tf's and threw them all out without even telling us. to this day i cringe at that thought. slowly but surely i'm rebuilding what i used to have.

I was a steady collector back then. I started in 1984 and ended my first collecting period during the Action Masters era. I actually had so many that I think if I were to write them down, the list would be massive. I might edit this post later and add the names if I get a wild hair.

Anyway I cant type all the names I had back in the 80's but out of all the figures from 1984 to 1988 I was only missing about 8 figures and the years following I only got the ones I liked and that was still most of them.

Huffer, Twin Twist, and Smokescreen when I was four, others thereafter including:
Perceptor, Seaspray, Beachcomber, Cosmos, Constructicon gift set, Insecticons, Frenzy, Ratbat, most season 3 minibots, Rewind, Steeljaw, Technobots, Terrorcons, more after season 3.
Ultra Magnus (still remember Christmas '86 for this)
Galvatron (begged and he was on sale in '87)
Gnaw/Sharkticon (one of the few TFs I've ever lost)

Most of the older ones are pretty beat up. I was never one to break toys or lose pieces, but accidents happen (especially when you're four or five) and toys wear out over time.

No..... Skyfire. That was his name in the show. I know he was known as Jetfire and or Skyfire. But Mine was Skyfire,I clearly remember. The box said Skyfire.

I'm sorry to tell you but your memeroy is faulty.He was never called Skyfire as a toy.

The 1 and only place he was called Skyfire was on the Cartoon.

Both the Toy and the comic books called him Jetfire.

Are we considering G1 as only the 4 years of the TV show or all the way up until Action Masters? I had quite a few Headmasters, Pretenders, and MicroMasters, as well as a few Target Masters, but I always truly felt G1 was the first 2 seasons, up until the movie, though I'm ok with including the movie characters as well.

In that case, I didn't have many(the G1 deprivation has fueled my current day lust), but I had more than I always thought, particularly season 2 characters:
