It is only a matter of a couple of weeks before LOST returns to TV so are you a fan? Discuss it here.
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

I don't really remember what happened on the last episode of season 2. I think Jack slit something in the guys cest or something, that's it.

That was season 3. But they only showed the first few eps before stopping it for some reason. Yeah, Jack cut an artery in Ben's chest, saying he would let him die in 2 hours if Kate and Sawyer aren't let go. I think Sawyer was in a headlock or had a gun pointing at him or something stopping him from escaping, and it ended on Kate trying to decide what to do: Rescue Sawyer or escape. And Jack doesn't know they are on a different island, but Sawyer and Kate do.
Oh what to do, what to do?

They did that so they could show the final 16 episodes of season 3 consecutively, without repeats. Last year they'd have a new ep, 3 repeats, new ep, 2 repeats, and so on and so on. This year, they just extended the winter break so there wouldn't be all the damned repeats.
And Jack cut something on Ben's kidney, not his chest.
Card carrying grumpy old man.

And what few episodes of S3 they have shown have already been better than all of S2 episodes. I just hope they can keep the pace up and not drop back to the boredom that was S2.

Ah well. Couldn't remember, I thought it was his chest or his back (or somewhere in his torso) as that's where he was doing the operation.

And with him, the last of the tailenders. Serves them right for crashing on another part of the island.

That is a very good question, and 1 I never considered. Although heres a plot hole:
If danny/osmond/whatever the guy from the hatch who calls everyone 'brother' had sailed around the entire island like he claimed in season 2, why didn't he spot the other island? Other than the fact the writers are making this stuff up as they go along and there wasn't a second island even considered then.

There's still Rose's husband.

I forgot about him. It's been too long, I forget about the minor players.

Who's to say Desmond didn't see it and simply opted to not share that bit of info?

OR maybe The Others erased Desmod's memories of the place when he found them! OR maybe he passed out drunk while his boat floated by! OR maybe the four-toed foot kciked him in the head, knocking out his memory (and causing his precognition)!

This season has been a bit of a let down to me so far.
I really enjoyed Season 2 much more.
However, it was good to get some things out in the open, like there is a second island.
The catch up episode was actually pretty good. I certainly needed it.
So she wants off the island now too. Can we assume from her flashback that it was hansocorp/dharma that hired her? I may have missed an obvious connection.
What is Jack going to do now? Now that he's saved Ben, are they going to kick the crap out of him, invite him into the fold, or let him go back home as he requested?
Yeah that brainwash room was quite interesting. Is that what they do with all the children that they took?
Still want to know exactly why the Others are on a separate island and that they take some people and simply kill others.

yeah, season 3 hasn't quite been up to par with season 2 (though it's still better than most other things on tv), but i have a feeling that could easily change in coming episodes. oh, and the catch-up episode was indeed better than expected, especially since i had missed some of those little flashback crossover appearances before (was that walt's face on a milk carton at one point? it was a split-second shot, but i could have sworn it was).
as for juliet's flashbacks, i think we can safely assume it was dharma/hanso that hired her, as the guy had ethan with him. what i really want to know is(and i'd love if someone who taped the episode would check this), in the first flashback sequence, i distinctly remember her walking by ethan (he said "hi" to her as they passed each other), and he was wearing some type of blue uniform. after the ending, i just have to wonder: was it a bus driver's uniform? because that would be an awesome, sinister little twist to throw in there.

I dunno if hired is a good way to put it. It almost seems like she had no choice in the matter..

ok, the conversation with the old woman has pretty much just flat-out stated that claire is going to die, unless desmond keeps saving her in every episode.
*EDIT*
HOLY CRAP! or not. looks like charlie's the new man in the red shoes.

So how did you all like the 'being marked' episode, and that it now introduces more mysteries, like:
The kidnapped folks 'watch' now. Watch what or whom? Why?
Jack believes his tattoo means something else? So what does he think (love? commitment? purgatory

Isabel or whoever comes out of nowhere, and takes charge??? Where's she been?
Why do the Others live in a community elsewhere, put on this show of being primitive, capture people, and brainwash them??? What purpose?
I have signed up for ABC's LOST podcast now, but I need to go back and listen to all the old eps, because they refer to things that make not a lot of sense to me...
I can't believe two episodes have gone by and hardly a word has been said. Are we losing interest like much of the rest of America???

eh, i greatly prefer the eps that focus on the main camp. the ones with the others' prisoners should really be much more interesting than they are.

this week's episode came across as more or less a filler ep while they started moving the pieces into place for the big rescue mission. it felt like it would have fit better as a season one ep, which isn't a bad thing, necessarily, but sawyer and kate's return to the main camp would have been a good opportunity for the show to pick up a bit of much needed momentum. still, it's always nice to have a season 3 ep that doesn't focus on the almighty jack. plus... cheech!
