Reported by Filmstalker.co.UK HASBRO has already got in the works two new movies to be done based of f of famous board games. Producer Ridley Scott (American Gangster, Blackhawk Down) has been assigned to create a movie out of the game "Monopoly" and TRANSFORMERS director Michael Bay will be doing a movie on the "Ouija Board".

New Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner said that he was looking into new avenues of approach for the company, and not even a week after he assumes the position of Chief Executive Officer, we find he's got the ball rolling already.

Oh my what is that second movie about?
I mean would it fit the original game if there would be thousands of explosions in it?

Man can't wait for Monopoly, my favorite board game!

Monopoly could be some kind of comedy, fun to watch!

I'd rather not watch anything Ouija Board.

If this is what we have to look forward to, expect to see the summer blockbusters of 2010, Candyland and Chutes and Ladders.

Oh god....

Great, a movie about Monopoly, how could that even possibly do well?

"Sorry Uncle Penny Bags, you walked onto Boardwalk, and you don't own it, so you have to pay Mr.TremendousDouche $3000 to pass through."

"But I don't have that kind of money, how can I pay him?!"

"You'll have to sell the orphanage to the bank, then compete in this talent show to win exactly $3000 dollars to pay to him to get the orphanage back before the little children starve!"

"By golly I'll do it!"

Then a movie about the Ouija Board? Yeah, because a toy company will be able to whip out a PG-PG13 movie about it that wouldn't suck.

Which will mean an increase in Ouija board sales, which will mean more complete idiots dicking around with the damn board unleashing god knows what just because they have no clue what they're doing, then boom I get to deal with more crap.

Hopefully I'll never meet Brian Goldner on the street, I'll give him a wicked noogie, the likes of which the world has never seen.
