i am sick of it. but cant hardly do a damn thing of it.
first, i fell like **** and second, would like to tell a little about myself
i am 14, quiet, big as in strong,(sorry for bragging) i am a nice guy, very polite, short tempered and very smart.
in like a year i have liked 2 girls. in class the only way we could talk is by writing notes. i wrote them each two notes AND NOT A DAMN RESPONSE!!!! i got the cold shoulder. that destroyed me. i was very depressed. and still am today. and i was just wondering how i should treat this. i get really depressed. and any explanation to as why every one i talk to gives me the cold shoulder?
also, i am the only collector i know of in my part of ohio and dont konw any one else that collects TFs besides every one on here

i dont want to do anything else but talk right now.

Dude, start a rock band. If you don't play anything cool - start one anyway or just find some other people who do play and scream your guts out. All that loneliness can be channel into that and then before you know it, girls will be climbing over each other to get with you.

If that doesn't work, just be confident and persistent.

confident: i mean assertive, direct, upbeat. believe that you are totally worth liking - or at least pretend if you dont believe that. on the upside the more you try to be confident in yourself, eventually the more you will gain real confidence.

persistent: if you get the cold shoulder once, try something else. If that doesn't work then keep trying. Write more notes. Send her an email. Sit next to her in class. Call her on the phone. Talk to her after school. Talk to her about her.

Heres a little secret that I used to use when I was your age (it doesn't work much after junior high but sometimes its worth a try). Tell your friends that you like a particular girl. Tell some other people. Eventually this will get around to her. This may actually make her like you. You can even try this with several girls at once.

well, depression isn't a light switch as you well know. when I get depressed, I usually try to channel it into something positive. I'm a musician so I write a song about it. Maybe you could write a story. Write a TF fanfic about a bot in a similar situation. It doesn't matter if its any good. Or draw a picture, write a poem. Again, it doesn't matter if its any good. The point is that you want to get in touch with that feeling. Embrace it even. Then turn it in to something good. Eventually, you won't be depressed anymore AND you will have gotten a lot of practice at something positive (or something that could potentially get you girls).

It's not because I'm a loner or anything, but because I'm more focused on developing my friendships with others. If you keep this up you're going to make yourself sick and it sounds like you already have.

Junior high and high school are the worst places to look for a gf. There are a few exceptions, but you'll find others who you may be interested in when you hit college. I know I have.

Just chill, you have your whole life still ahead of you. Focus on your grades and get a degree that makes money. I've seen that those who are nice guys and are able to support a family are the ones women go after. Women for the most part are'nt interested in materials, but who can protect and support them.

This is generally good advice. However, I'd like to add that you should not just go for the job that gets you money. Go for the job that makes you happy. In the short term, yeah the high paying job might get you more girls. but those probably aren't the ones you want to take home to your parents.

I am the same way. Often I write songs and it pisses me off. From personal experience though, this gets you through it faster and focuses you more.

i have a 3.6 GPA grades are not a problem at the moment. and when i have something on my mind like this i cant just *chill*. and i can protect a girl with my life and do any thing to support them. also there are some acceptions at my school. and you are right about one thing i am sick like you said. i can handle a girl friend and my grades at the same time

i was 17 when I met my wife. Now Im 26. Best thing that ever happened to me. Hell, I'm still in school.
