Whatever happened to the four guys on the Milllennium Falcon
Random thing that just started bothering me:
In Star Wars Episode IV, the heroes incapacitate a scanning crew and two stormtroopers that come searching for them on the Millennium Falcon.
I've never seen any EU fiction following up on that, so I'm wondering - what happened to them?
Were they KOed and locked in the smuggling compartments to be kept as Rebel Alliance prisoners later?
Did Chewie tear them limb from limb? The troopers' armor was in fine condition afterward, so I assume the gunshots heard missed.
It seems like every minor character in Star Wars has had something written about them, so what about these four saps?!

The empire probably found them while the good guys were running around the deathstar.

P
I've actually thought about it but not much. Guess they're still stinkin up the cargo hold of the Falcon. Either that or Chewie ate them.

But if the imperials had been smart enough to look on board the Falcon after the chaos started, wouldn't they have disabled it or something.
*remembers the homing beacon*
Doh.

Simple answer Solo, Chewie, Luke, and Ben either killed or knocked them out. Stored them in the same smuggling holds, and disposed of them either dead or alive on Yavin.
I assume the Stormtroopers were dead since we hear two shots when they come up, but the scanning crew likely ended up prisoners of the Rebels.

Well, the escape pods were apparently jettisoned shortly after takeoff from Tatooine
My theory.
After they escape the Death Star, they slapped the unconscious/dead troopers in the empty escape pod bay, then jettisoned them shortly before hitting Yavin.

You know....Vader possibly had a hand in this
Remember it was his idea to put the bekon on the ship to follow it to the rebel base
They possibly knew about the bodies but figured why go for small fish when you can snag a whale

If Lord Vader cared so little about the lifes of Officers serving under him that he would force-choke them, I doubt he would be worried about the lives of 4 (possibly cloned) troopers.
possibles:
-dead: jettisoned into space
-dead: Eaten by Chewie
-stunned: ejected in pod
-stunned: thrown in hold
-stunned: kicked out of Falcon (off screen)
Reality:
-Lucas was lazy and didn't bother to worry about it.

I love how you guys are actually coming up with viable scenarios. Bless you all.

It's safe to assume that I'm just taking the piss.

Trying to remember the movie chronologically...I believe Vader feels the presence he has not felt since...(turns and walks away) before the scanning crew entered the ship. Hence, Vader figures Obi Wan will escape and the big scanning equipment IS the homing beacon in which they follow the Falcon to Yavin 4. The four corpses? Who cares, the Empire had thousands and could waste a few guys on a simple mission like that.
If you don't like that, how about this then? Chewie and Han fired first at the scanning crew shooting them dead. As the Stormtroopers took aim at Han and Chewie, Luke and Obi Wan came up from behind and decapitated them with their respective lightsabers. This would leave the armor in good condition and they would just have to scoop out the heads of the previous wearers for the helmets. Dispose of all bodies in the hidden smuggling compartments. Chewie has a little snack on one. Bingo. That actually sounds like a good sequence. I'd like to see that!
Notice Lucas and Speilberg: Patent Pending on above material!
