I have finally found a a few Revoltechs that I really really want!
They are making a Alien, hell yea forget NECA's piece of crap "I brake when you touch me".
And a T-Rex it also looks like they're starting to make Godzilla related toys and if they actually do make a Godzilla I'll be all over that.

I like how Kaiyodo is continuing to branch out into other franchises with Revoltech. I don't know of any other concept in action figures that is similar to the Revolver joint as it's a combination ball-ratchet joint.

SWEET! The Alien, Jack Skellington, and Batman look awesome. The T-Rex looks good except for the neck, I'm undecided on that one. The only Revoltech figure I have is Dante from Devil May Cry, now he'll finally get some company.

I jumped on the Revoltech bandwagon when they started releasing Macross figures. I found them to be excellent at attaining and holding dynamic action poses but when it came to simple standing and pointing poses the symmetry of the figures were uneven. I often found myself having to take the figures apart to manually adjust the joint which I didn't like to do since I was always afraid of damaging the figure. Recently I picked up the new VF-1S that can transform between its three modes and features a new double revolver joint. I found the figure to be made of a much softer plastic that wasn't the same quality of previous figures. Again I had to take the figure apart to adjust the revolver joints but this time just to be able to make the figure stand or at least transform properly. Don't get me wrong, it was a great first attempt but I think they should have drawn more from Toynami's 1/100 scale line than they did. By the way, what's with the coins and the little boxes that the figures are now packaged with?

The Revoltech coins are for purchasing certain Revoltech products. I'm not sure if you have to deal directly with Kaiyodo to use the coins or if there are certain stores in Japan that accept the coins.

I found that the early Revoltech figures, while great for the time they were produced, have issues, primarily being poor fitting parts, specifically the pegs. I imagine the peg holes were perfect fits but once paint was applied to the figure during the manufacturing process, the ports became too snug for pegs to fit in properly. The newer figures, however, seem to not have that issue. Date Masamune and Sanada Yukimura are great figures, though Date's hip and thigh joints are hindered by rigid parts of the sculpt. The Hokuto no Ken Revolution figures are pretty darn good, their face sculpts are very detailed.

I'm currently into the Revoltech figures as well as S.H. Figuarts and Robot Damashii to a lesser degree.

Gamera is awesome!

Now that I'm seeing Jack Skellington in different poses, I have some trepidation over the figure's ability to stand unaided due to the tiny feet. However, the accessory count is great! 4x optional faces and the display piece...awesome.

I wonder if Revoltech Gamera will scale well with Ultra Act figures...I can envision a tokustatsu crossover action figure display!

I hope the Revolver Joints at the ankles and connection points for the cape parts are strong. One of the main issues I've experienced with Revoltech figures of human/human like characters is that the ankle joints are quite weak(Hokuto no Ken Revolution figures, Sengoku Basara figures, etc.).

My Revoltech Alien figure arrived but I won't be able to check it out until I get home tonight...I can't wait!

The figure has a pretty good range of articulation. The Revolver joints are a bit obtrusive at the elbows, knees, and ankles as there's little hiding them but otherwise the figure is impeccable. The sculpt is superb and the figure is mainly composed of a translucent plastic with a wonderful paint wash over it. When light is shone on the figure, it has a partial see-through effect. I'm extremely happy with how this figure turned out. It's an excellent first offering from Kaiyodo's Revoltech Sci-Fi line.

The Revoltech Alien figure is 100% H.R. Giger goodness. The egg/pod accessory is also made out of a translucent plastic with paint applied over various parts. It has a great look if you shine light up from beneath it.

I'm really looking forward to the Alien Queen and Predator figures.
