A question for the Seibertronians based in Japan

I know this may be kinda bad timing, but on December 25th, the Fafner in the Azure: Heaven and Earth movie came out in theaters.

After months of frustrated searching, I have yet to find a synopsis or even a review of the movie.

Therefore, I am wondering what happened since it's a direct sequel to the Fafner in the Azure anime series.

I have been tearing my hair out of what actually happened, since I recently finished watching the series and throughly enjoying it, and with no US release even hinted at, I'm at a loss.

So as a formal request, I would like to know anything about the movie that any of you can supply, and no need to hold back on spoilers, although I do request that the spoiler tag be added to them so as not to ruin the movie for others who would like to see it.
